lowkey I'm here for the dual album - disc 1: the leaked version, and disc 2: the official version, full of new songs sharing their titles with their leaked counterparts - Void, Death, Sirens, Dragon's Blood, Garden, Fingers Crossed, Needle & Thread, Færie Soirée...

ngl I feel like Hollywood, I Don't Wanna Go and Starry Eyed stick out pretty much as they're much newer than the rest, but other than that it's a great collection

Its worst aspect for me is the songwriting. It's pretty cringe I like the production and the melodies but I would've rather had it with a full different track instead.

OMG I finally listened to it and I'm so happy with it. Still don't know whether I prefer Always Live for Always or Roses N Guns but sure thing I really liked the new album.

while the new snippet sounds soooo good, I wonder if it's the same Void as the leaked Void (which in my opinion remains superior, darker and more powerful) or it's a different song. If so, I bet she just remade the album last year, making songs with the same names (i.e. Death) just to troll us

Let's just... add Gypsy. Fashion! is one of my favourites in the album so I can't live without it but Gypsy is actually cute. I just cut it as I didn't really not know where to place it but probs between Fashion! and Applause And regarding Aura, it can even be retitled Burqa lol it was more iconique

ngl considering that Queen of the Clouds and Sunshine Kitty had plenty of extra tracks (particularly QOTC) I have hopes. I think Borderline + 3 songs is very realistic. Hopefully more.

They're pushing Brrr because it's her newest single. It's obvious. However it would be better if they pushed the songs that were saved from Problématique instead. Literally anything from those sessions ended Brrr, maybe except for Feed the Beast. I'm guessing it's Revelations, Hit It From the Back and All She Wants. all three scream single treatment. pls Kimberly.

Yeah me too, I think My Head & My Heart was doing well enough to propel the deluxe. Maybe the non-cleared ABBA sample used in Emotions would've had something to do with it. though iirc 3 or 4 more songs were registered for the deluxe, and probably Wild Thing would've made it too.

Ooooh Ray of Light is truly a masterpiece. Her best for me. My top 5 would be Frozen Sky Fits Heaven The Power of Goodbye Skin Swim

yup yup, I think it goes around the lines of calling her 'uninspired' (I've seen that a LOT in other forums) but like if you check around, like more than half of the 'mainstream' artists out there are TRULY uninspired just throwing a very soulless beat into a mixer along with very mediocre vocal delivery and call it a day. Probs Ava's strongest feat is her vocals and that's why I like her so much. And yes, Diamonds & Dancefloors is a perfect dance pop album

but I do like Field Trip and Brain & Heart I'm aware that B&H sounds like an unfinished demo production wise but I do like the beat lol. maybe I was too disappointed with K-12 that I took everything I could with AS.

I bet After School would've worked amazing if: 1) it wasn't marketed as a K-12 deluxe (there's NOTHING related between both projects) 2) production was switched up a bit cause it's a little of snoozefest as it was delivered, some rework would've been beneficial for it 3) it was released as an album with songs like History, Lost & Found, Under the Desk, Absorb or Function in a more polished, final form. in the end, I would've gladly waited till 2021 for a full album that sounded more fleshed out. 4) Fire Drill or Copy Cat were marketed as singles from K-12 as they are the only two songs that actually connect a little with K-12 YET they were also omitted from After School so
