I usually give up hope of an announcement after around 4:30PM my time, which was about an hour and a half ago so now I’m onto hoping for tomorrow!

she mentioned wanting to work with the same guy who did the LFL’s trailer, assuming not all the footage was lost in the theft, I think it’ll have the same weird/vintage vibe as LFL’s trailer. Especially with the aesthetics of W magazine (assuming she had any input in that)

I think we’re thinking too hard about it. boz said a couple months Gus said a couple months Eclipse said it’s coming neil said see you soon i can’t imagine all of them saying things like this and still being more than 6 months away.

I think this time things could potentially be a little different because of the theft situation, and she doesn’t always do a long prerelease. NFR was announced in August with a release in August and I forget Honeymoon’s exact rollout, but I think it was only a month, maybe a little bit more. I agree!! That’s why I think her reveal this time is going to come with an album trailer, like NFR. Even for that we knew the album title for almost a year, I think when she finally does make an announcement, it’s gonna be a huge one. Album title, music video preview, maybe a couple snippets. Either that, or like LFL’s where she talked about the album, gave us the title, but that’s it. I think we found the snippets before the teaser!

I definitely get the logic behind this, but at the same time I don’t want the album potentially delayed a month for no real reason..she’s not against releasing an album in the same month as another album, because before she found out about COTCC’s vinyl delay her release date was January. I really do think December will have some sort of tease! I do hope we get more than a COTCC-esque tease, because it was really nice to finally get some kind of info, but it did make those dry three weeks excruciating! But beggars can’t be choosers so I’ll take anything he said it a good number of pages back. He basically just told us to chill and that the album was coming

he heard the album in October and said he’d probably have to wait a couple of months to talk about it, and Gus (if we’re trusting him) this month said we’d know about the album in a couple months, so I think the album was sent to vinyls between mid September (after she was ‘making magic’ with Ian) and mid October (when BOZ heard the album) which would leave us with a release around March, like Chemtrails. Unfortunately that also might mean we don’t get news/a single until January or February, depending on what their plans are with the theft situation. I also think it’s going to be a super quick rollout simply because things are floating around. At the same time Neil also said “see you soon” a couple weeks ago, and assuming he wasn’t actually seeing her, and this is another ‘see you in September’ thing, December seems like a plausible time to announce TLDR: it’s a huge guessing game and there are no clear answers at all to when anything will happen

I just got an email from LDR village that there is a 40% off holiday sale which can only mean one thing! They’re getting rid of their stock to restock it with DNC/LDRX merch I think it’s safe to say nobody knows anything, except for BOZ who called it a masterpiece and eclipse who said it was coming

that ‘insider’ posted months ago on dbree about how they used the voice memos as background vocals and that still sounds super interesting to me and I wouldn’t hate that. As long as the actual front and center vocals are studio. that said, I really hope she’s over her one take and done mindset. So many songs on BB started out good but have so many rough vocal moments. I know she did that on purpose, but I don’t really get or like it. No, she isn’t a vocal powerhouse, but she still has really good vocals and hearing random bad vocals just rubs me the wrong way

plus she’s been VERY vocal about how she feels bad about it and has been making contributions to Native American communities since at least NFR

I think this is the longest time we’ve ever gone in between snippets and getting a song. HIAB —> MAC might have been longer but I can’t remember. we got TJF snippet august and then LMLYLAW October, we got BB snippet and then like a month later got the song. We got Rockefeller in August and literally nothing since. I hate it and I’m ready for a SINGLE. LANA, PLS!

people usually make these kind of theories every prerelease (it really started around COTCC’s prerelease) but it’s been more extreme this pre pre era because nobody with solid info is spilling anything, and the people who are ‘spilling’ are full or shit. (Absolutely not calling you or BOZ out at all, I completely understand you two are doing it for your own sake and because of legality issues) I would never be as extreme to think she scrapped a whole project, but the fact she teased the snippet in august and hasn’t said a single thing about it does make me think that (obviously) things happened behind the scenes that delayed the project. Which was explained in October when she talked about the robbery. I think a year of her talking about the new music with absolutely nothing concrete is just getting to people

I’m team realistic but I’d be very shocked if we don’t hear anything at all by January. Neil said see you soon and I’m holding onto that. There is no reason he had to say that and I want to trust his soon more than Ben’s. The rest of November is probably gonna be silent but I really do believe we’ll get something December.

Falling For Christmas It was a typical dumb Christmas movie but it was actually pretty good, and I love seeing Lindsay Lohan looking so healthy again!

I love Sean on the song but I like the demo’s bridge more. It’s so heartbreaking and hopeless, and it’s completely lost in the “now I’m singing with Sean” version

Exactly. The album is very ‘typical’ Lana up until Coachella, then it gets more introspective with what was happening in the world, and then slowly went the folk route. The only thing wrong with Lust For Life is Yosemite and BAR deserve their place on the album
