that would be a dream. She’s served upbeat songs for years now, she just hardly ever releases them I’d even take a more Doin’ Time vibe. When I think of her going back to BTD I think more in the way of her lyrics being more playful. While COTCC is one of my favorite albums by her, and BB has great songs, I do miss how she used to write her songs. I know she’s more in the diarist phase, but a guy can dream.

I agree! BOZ seems to know the single is ‘close’ but also says it’s too early to talk about the album. I do hope the single is at maximum 6 months before the album. The trio from May to October wasn’t terrible but the almost year wait between MAC/VB and Norman was a little long. I’d rather her sit on the new music just a little if there is no clear ‘finish’ to the album yet the “you taste sweet like rock Candy” lyrics are new and BOZ said she reused them

I mean it’s possible, but the tweet is regarding ‘Lana music’ and the collab that’s coming isn’t really ‘Lana’ music, so it’s most likely single related

I can’t believe Lana released two albums this year and now we’re already on the edge of our seats for more new music next year Lana stans are truly so lucky

She talked about it (and did it again) a couple months ago on her livestream!! So she knows we like it so maybe she’ll include it. While Blue Banisters isn’t my favorite of the albums she released this year, the way she played with her vocals was really cool and the highlight of the album for me. I hope she continues that on LDR9 (except maybe clean it up just a little there were some really rough parts in BB)

YES!!! I’m so mad she has blonde hair for COTCC video and then dyed it dark brown for everything else! He confirmed it wasn’t about LYTAN/RCS and it’s a new song, and the lyrics aren’t to the collab we’re getting soon

I re-read BOZ’s commented and he said (about the phrase Rock Candy Sweet) “she must have liked it too much to leave it in the past” so to me, that’s suggesting it’s a new song, and not a 2019 Jack track
