I feel like this is both the most exciting and the most dry prerelease On the one side, if it comes out July 4th, there was only 3 and a half months wait (Late March to early July) and we got 3 singles before the album came out, and all at once, on a random Thursday with no warning. Not to mention chemtrails just came out in March. And May was really fun with BOZ leaking info, the trio singles, and Mike heavily interacting with us. On the other side, Lana hasn’t said boo and has only posted a video snippet (that never released, and later deleted) and mentioned the three singles for like 2 hours, and hasn’t said anything about the album at all in like 2 months. Either way, album out in a week and a half

Right, because it’s coming out Friday, July 2nd all ya’ll acting like she delayed it when BOZ told us last week we might have avoided a delayed, and told us a track yesterday. breath, it’s coming. We’re almost in the single digits

None of those songs belong on COTCC I wish she would take up an album track with an unreleased, but if it fits the album sound, it’ll be perfect. It feels like it could exist alongside Text Book

On the plus side we know the new album is gonna be explicit I can’t believe we’re so close to another album

I had pretty much lost faith we were getting the singles when we did, and then bam, out of nowhere, there they were! And she posted about them hours later with no caption, and then deleted it. I can definitely see her not making a fuss about the album. Also, like two weeks ago BOZ said he hates talking about Lana because she changes plans so much and so quickly, so if he decided to give us info when he did, he had to have gotten some concrete info. He hasn’t been wrong yet! (Mentioned the tracks weren’t produced by Jack, told us the era was staring in two weeks) Lastly, he said the album name probably changed, and Lana hasn’t announce the new name yet, but the press release last month called the album “the fourth coming album” and didn’t call it BB so it’s very possible she’s known for awhile about the name change and hasn’t wanted to announce it. im really conducting the delusional train today

I admittedly have been more team Delulu than I usually am, but we’ve already been served 3 songs and BOZ just said last week we might have avoided a delay, and if it is delayed I’m sure BOZ will tell us. This just feels different than it has the last couple albums..In March when Lana was in Texas, she said she was done and recording new songs, Mike has said they’ve wanted to work together on more projects, polyrecords did repost the announcement (yes they deleted it but still!). I don’t know, I just really feel like the album could be coming soon. BOZ just got new info last week, and since she just released an album this year maybe the label is letter her do more her own thing. And Ben (or Ed) said they could finally do something they’ve wanted to for a while

no Lana definitly lied she didn’t submit the album to be pressed until the end of October. The earliest we could have gotten it without the delay was late December early January. She also shot a video in July for TJF that we’ll probably never see she already has a professional video for this era (assuming it’s not scrapped) so she’s already ahead of the game

BOZ already said it wasn’t music/lyric related. also, I can definitely see her surprise releasing the album July 4th. She did it with the singles, and she’s wanted to surprises release an album since White Hot Forever.

BOZ also knew that the track list was changed. He’s had to have seen a memo or announcement or something. It’s likely that memo included a different album name, and a July 4th release.

not at all until there is official word, it’s always possible it could be delayed. Look at COTCC, her website said March 5th on the day the preorder went live, so they changed it suddenly.

they did this a couple weeks ago, when her site shut down for a couple days *this, being getting rid of the bookstore backdrop, and adding the wolf with the ‘coming soon’ visual

I hate that fans were so “1989 HAS TO COME NOW” that they really forced her hand and she had to announce the re-recording 5 months early also, why wildest dreams Taylor! Why!!
