BBS I feel is too long to be the freak/cherry/cg/TJF of the album tbh. With it being the longest track I think it’s gonna be in the same soundscape as Text book, and the lyrics are gonna be heart wrenching IYLDWM I think is gonna be in the same vein as NOTG In my head, Beautiful is going to be the TJF/CG/cherry of the album. I’m not really sure what to expect at all with it tbh it’s the one song not on my radar of ones I’m super hyped about Violets for Roses i think is going to be a super bittersweet song. According to the merch, the lyrics go “I traded my violets for roses” and I think it’s going to be more bitter than thankful, and it’s the song before dealer so I think it’s really gonna set that tone Sweet Carolina I’m hoping surprises me but I’m not sure how I feel about it yet! Lastly, I’m really hoping that the leaked songs are changed up a little. Not that they aren’t fantastic as they are now, but they could definitely use a little more filling. Arcadia really surprised me with the orchestra being added so I’m hoping all the Erickson songs follow in that

people just assumed it would leak today because the original release date was today, but there’s no actual proof it will it’ll probably leak (at the earliest) Monday..that’ll be 10 days before, just like COCC

I love the radio mix! I love the more stripped back guitar, her vocals, and the lyrics “you hold me close and you say ‘hush baby hush’” and I love the way her vocals are all layered and swirl around. But I absolutely agree that the official version is far superior, but I definitely get the love for the radio mix my unpopular opinion is I kinda wish I Can Fly would have been released on BB so it would get the love and attention it deserves. I don’t even think you can listen to it (or big eyes) on Apple Music anymore

Happy first birthday to Violet ive always admired her book, and I’ll die on my hill that Sportscruiser is one of her best works of art. The feelings she described hit so close to home!! I do wish Violet would have came out at a different time. It being released in September when we were all wanting/expecting chemtrails didn’t do it any favors. I also feel like the poetry book might seem so much older than it is because Lana was heavily teasing the poems in 2019 before NFR even came out (because she wanted the poetry to come out before Norman) I’m super excited to see what the future holds with her poetry

I always loved LFL even though it’s an unpopular opinion and I’m going to always love COCC even if it’s an unpopular opinion.. I know Lana never really got into the COCC era but I really wish it would have lasted longer than a day I love how short the album is, it makes replaying it really easy. It’s definitely my number 1 album of the year
