My prediction: Joint album being released August 9th being announced with the single tomorrow lasso next year!

Well the drop is next Friday, August 8th. Tomorrow was supposed to be the ‘soft launch’

I lowkey really like the snippet we don’t even know if Lana is on it, she has a writers credit but he sang the song live solo at his show months ago so I really don’t think Lana is involved, I feel like he would have tagged her

SYTH had a vinyl but I don’t think she had for a ‘lead’ single. Usually it’s just an album preorder

I do think this is a likely scenario! Especially since it’s being ‘released’ on Friday, August 9th. It makes sense they’d want to get as high a debut as possible! Plus her vinyls always sell EXTREMELY well, so a 7” vinyl with the instrumental on side B (like Tough) makes a lot of sense! But at the same time that logic also applies to a vinyl repress of NFR. Give it a week and a half of preorder and then ship it out on a Friday so the album sees a nice little boost.

I just don’t see this drop being Tough related since the vinyls are being shipped out in September. If they had Tough vinyls ready to ship in August, they wouldn’t be shipping other ones out in September Personally I think a NFR repress is most likely, since August is the 5 year anniversary of the album

I’m trying so hard to not get hype but I do have a feeling we’re in for something big next month. Tough was released way early due to fan demand, and since the vinyls ship September we can assume that’s closer to the original release date. Maybe she wanted to do ‘Lead’ single August, Tough September, album October? I’m still stuck on those pictures she posted in June because they SCREAM lead single/album photoshoot and they were done with the same guy who did Tough, so the vibes are going to be similar

Personally I’m putting all my eggs in the August 9th basket if we do get some sort of ‘soft launch’ Tuesday, it’ll be a nice treat but I’m not expecting anything major until August 9th

We also know she did a photoshoot (probably video shoot) with the director of the Tough video, so theoretically things could be ready to drop at any moment and they’re just waiting for the right time.

Hot Shot said DYKTTATUOB was uploaded over a week in advance, and the insider is saying the release is August 9th, so it could be announced on Tuesday the 30th, be uploaded around August 2nd; and then released a week later on August 9th Granted, my expectations are low and if we don’t get an announcement in the next two weeks I won’t be disappointed or surprised BUT the timeline still adds up. Of course nothing is going to be uploaded now (or possibly even Monday) if we’re still 12+ days away from whatever is going to be released

well no, Tough’s verse and chorus was written around November of 2023, and was shown to Lana by Clay in January of this year. It can be easily assumed that In God’s Time was also written around that time, since it shares multiple writers with Tough.

No not really. They do post some accurate info (and they usually own up when something they say is wrong/doesn’t happen) but a lot of times the info is mostly stuff that could have been easily guessed if you’re following the fandom at all Like one insider (not PInsider) tweeted “Lana - This summer” a couple of months ago, then tagged Tough’s release picture when it was announced, but literally anyone could have ‘known’ were getting something this summer so it’s mostly just lucky guesses. I don’t think many of them have actual inside knowledge

I think the first video has already been shot (the one she teased in June) and this will be the second video she puts out!

Also, I’m not sure if it was reported, because I haven’t been online a lot. That twitter insider (PInsider, the same one who said she was shooting a video in the fall for a new song) also reaffirmed about a week or so ago she was releasing this year. (I’d pull up the tweet but they seem to have deactivated their account again)
