I wish fearless had more twang! Her old twang being gone makes me nervous for ts(tv)

yeah hate train is in full force! The thing about the hate train is eventually it stops, and I think once people start seeing through it they’ll give the album the attention it deserves. Honestly the way this is turning out isn’t surprising me. The Taylor hate has been building for quite awhile and it makes sense that this is gonna be what really brings it on the album is good and all my real life swiftie fans love it, so I’m not trusting the option of the people who are latching on to the hate just because that’s what’s popular

A lot of the reviews I’ve been reading are more focused on Taylor the billionaire star than the new album and it’s so see through

different guests and maybe different outfit/hair style are the only changes I think we’re getting

I do agree. Midnight’s endless 10/10’s were so bizarre to me. Even if I don’t agree with the overly negative review it’s nice that they’re being a bit more honest and critical

Yeah I do agree with that. When she talked about the re-recordings in the very beginning I really thought they’d be out before the eras tour even started. Honestly I think she just saw how profitable they are and decided to make each of them their own ‘era’ instead of the initial goal of getting them out there to own her art.

With the way the public is turning on her i’d be okay if she didn’t even release the TV’s until next year and just had this year be focused on TTPD:TA and the eras tour

same. Like yeah there are Taylor-isms but so many songs (guilty as sin, Florida, I can fix him off the top of my head) could absolutely not go into another album she’s released

not me! having it in my top 3 Like, I don’t get why it’s being so hated. Side A starts out as a more realized Midnights, expands into something completely different, and then side B is a folklore fan’s DREAM. I do agree!! I do think 31 FULL songs all at once is very extreme and a bit overwhelming. I’ve been listening to side A since it leaked and I’m STILL overwhelmed. I also think it’s just the fact that Taylor has been in the news for YEARS nonstop now, and the general fatigue that has been slowly boiling up is finally peaking.

yeah and it’s so bizarre to me. I’m not one of those swifites that like everything just because of the Taylor name, but this is genuinely one of my favorite albums in years I don’t understand where the overwhelming hate is coming from

Omg So Highschool has to be about Travis “are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me” Not Travis inspiring one of the best songs on side B

yeah I’m re-listening to side B (with a cold drink in my hand) and it’s starting to really grow on me

absolutely! And thank you amiee is the perfect “I’m over it but it still hurt” song I think

I agree. Not to mention Kim also still takes jabs at Taylor (like the purple dress on speak now tv’s release date hello??) after Taylor talked in Time about how it deeply affected her I don’t blame her at all either

I do like the more ‘reputation sass’ of side A. Side B has some sass/bad bitch songs but not nearly as many. Side B is more what I expected the whole album to sound like and I’m definitely thankful side A exists

Yep definitely side a > side b But side b has a lot of highlights and I’m liking Robin more than I did last night, I really might just need a little more time with these songs. I was going to list my highlights, but I’m realizing I was going to list more than half the tracks so I must not dislike it as much as I’m thinking I did

Okay I’m switching The The Prophecy - Cassandra - Peter - The Bolter run is really hitting me HARD. But I already know I don’t love Robin and The Manuscript because I heard them last night

It’s just a LOT. I’m glad I had an extra day and a half to soak in side A before getting both albums. 31 full length songs is a lot to try and take in Cassandra is hitting really hard I really like this one awe that is really cute!!

I think side A is just a quicker hit. I can do almost every single side A song without wanting the song to end, but I’m on The Prophecy right now and there’s only been 3 or 4 so far that’s been as immediate hit. Then again, this does feel very folklore and that admittedly is one of my least favorite albums

Yeah so far I’m wishing instead of a double album she would have done a folklore/evermore situation where she put out TTPD this month and TA in like September or October I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m really leaning towards Side A/Jack songs. Side B does have a lot of solid songs but idk it’s a BIT much I think
