I know it’s only an EP but I can’t believe we’ve been teased for like 6 months for 4 songs

Hard to believe it’s been TEN YEARS now I still remember where I was every second of the era. Sitting in my dorm room replaying West Coast over and over and over on release day. Being at my aunt’s summer house when Shades of Cool dropped thinking to myself “wow Lana will never top this”. Watching her live performance of Ultraviolence over and over again and already having the words memorized once the song dropped. Sitting in my stupid ex boyfriends bedroom listening to Brooklyn Baby with that rat repeating over and over again “I don’t know how you even like her” (I dumped his sorry ass like days afterwards) and then THE moment. I picked up my best friend on release night around 11PM, we went to the store and got tons of snacks and drinks, and then I drove us around our hometown all night and we repeated the album over and over and over again over analyzing every single little detail. I never connected SO much with an album, and while I’ve mostly outgrown it, I will still forever cherish that era. Both sonically and that moment in life. So many amazing memories were built around this album, and even to this day I get such a rich sense of nostalgia when I do a full album play through. I haven’t listened to the album cover to cover in probably a couple of years now, but today is absolutely going to be Ultraviolence day.

but she was quick to clock that interviewer a couple weeks ago about not doing a full stadium tour and in the same interview she didn’t deny the album was coming this year. And just today she was introduced and they mentioned her having an upcoming album and I KNOW that intro had be approved by someone on her team. AND she just told Elle last month it is still coming this year TLDR: Lasso is still happening

The Atrl insider that spilled the name and lyrics said back in February it was for Lana, but no, we aren’t 100% sure

She’s mentioned this before years ago! I don’t remember where, but I know for a fact “burning all my bridges but one” was something she’s said before

Tagging a music video producer (that’s worked with the other artist on Tough) isn’t enough reason? We KNOW a video was shot last month (Quavo and Wally both confirmed) and now she’s posting HQ pics and tagging the producer. Like I get y’all are upset that nothing was announced today but please have a little more faith in her

Tbh I don’t see us getting any solid info until July or August now my hype for a June release/preorder is GONE

We should have expected this tbh she announced lasso and then two weeks later worked on songs with Quavo, it was pretty obvious the sound shifted. I think we’re still getting Lasso but I don’t think it’s going to be as country as she/we thought it would be

At least her last speech was memorable (glass ship that can fly). This speech was literally nothing at all like I can’t recall a single thing she just said
