sorry if this thread is getting off topic, but this is an incredibly ignorant stance to take. he's been a cop for a long time. he's had plenty of time to change his mind and he knows exactly what he's doing. and so does she. this isn't me attacking her. but i think celebrities need to be held accountable just as much as regular people do.

while i respect the idea of being open minded and thoughtful, being a centrist is not a good thing in my opinion. i love her, but being a centrist is almost the same thing as not having an opinion at all.

my opinion on lana and politics is very... complicated. on one hand, im very firm in my beliefs (especially in my opinions on cops, BLM, etc.) on the other hand, I've dedicated a lot of time to Lana. she's truly my muse in more ways than one. she's the reason I'm so interested in pursuing music and the reason i started writing. her music has helped me through a lot. i don't want to lose her over political stuff, but "political stuff" is more important to me than music. i guess idk. being a Lana stan in 2020 is difficult.

I've been meaning to tell you I think your house is haunted. Your dad is always mad and that must be why. And I think you should come live with me and we can be pirates. Then you won't have to cry or hide in the closet.

my favorites on the album (in no particular order) CARDIGAN! exile my tears ricochet seven august illicit affairs mad woman betty hoax i never check this thread, but I've been listening to taylor since i was 7 years old and even though i stopped listening a long time ago, since reputation I've been listening more and more and she's slowly becoming my favorite artist again (yes, even above LDR). this album definitely solidified that for me. definitely my favorite album of this year and very possibly her best work to date. its such a heart wrenching record but i can't help but play it over and over and over again. it's just a great album.

i feel like the one person whos not absolutely in love with the audiobook :/ i like it, and as a fan of poetry (and a writer of it, myself) i think the poems are really good, but the audiobook was a bit lackluster for me. I'm still excited to read the actual book though, and i promise this isn't me trying to play devil's advocate or be contrarian.

spoken word album was cute. honestly I wasn't CRAZY about it but there were definitely some standouts: la who am i to love you?, salamander, sportcruiser, and bare feet on linoleum being my favorites. idk i think i just wish she used a real microphone instead of recording on what appears to be her iPhone mic. still, her poetry itself is pretty impressive. i just think i wanted something more for all this buildup and waiting.

if she's back with him i will literally stop listening to her. I've defended her through a lot. but her going to a blm protest before getting back with a cop actually shows she does not give a fuck about black lives whatsoever. i defended her through the IG incidents, but this is ridiculous if it's true.
