Wildflower Wildfire is prob my favorite song she dropped this year. Well at least till Wednesday LOL. I am so excited and ready for BB. Chemtrails came and went. I have a better feeling about this album...

Solar Power is Lorde's Chemtrails. It is too minimalist for me and uninspired. Both are by no means bad albums but compared to the previous releases it's rather weak. I will still listen to it and enjoy it but it will have no impact on my life and neither will it have an impact on Lorde's career. Just like Chemtrails came and went so will Solar Power. Jack needs to take a break and come back when he can produce something as amazing as NFR and Folklore.

I just finished my first listen and it's definitely a good album. It is very Marina and none of these tracks could have been written/sung by any other singer (unlike most of the songs from her previous album). The highs for me are def Man's World, Purge The Poison, Highly Emotional People & New America. Like most of Marina's music I'll definitely need time because her songs need time to grow on me. VFT is very Family Jewels and I really like that. It's a bit chaotic ngl but so is PTP and I grew to looove that song. The first seconds of Pandora's Box are very Billie Eilish imo and then it turns into Happy (LOL). Only song that is kinda meh for me is Goodbye. The chorus does nothing for me on first listen and I kinda don't see it growing. We'll see. The album needed more songs because one weak songs can drag it down. That's the risk when you release a 10 track album. I really want PC and Happy Loner. I think both would have worked perfectly with the album. And Flowers would have been a good closer. Goodbye should have been cut.

I just want to hear the ballads asap. I am a sucker for her sad songs.

this year is very weak. My fav years so far are 2016 and 2017. 2012 had a lot of amazing songs as well. But this year sounds as bad as 2004-2006 did. I like about 5-6 songs. But I don't care about most of the songs and none of the favorites is good imo. It's all so average. If Ukraine didn't have to host if they win I'd love them to win.

gosh this songs are doing nothing for me so far. heard all songs twice and it all sounds like chemtrails (a worse version of Dance Till We Die) with weird melodies and minimalistic production. are these all demos? to be fair Chemtrails is my least fav Lana album. I haven't listend to that in over a month. RIP.

Imma give you a reality check. The photo she posted is the official cover. She posted it twice. No she is not releasing the album on a Sunday and no she is not releasing CSR on that date in June. She just drops random things. Who knows what will happen. At this point she is just letting us be part of the creative process....
