I just read a post that says the movie was actually 3 hour-long thing and it cost 11m $ so she had to scrap some parts of it and that’s why they didn’t set the school on fire, thus fire drill couldn’t made it to the album. that’s sad.

I watched the movie this morning and omg there were a lot of children with their parents it’s so cringy but the movie was beautiful i think. It exceed my expectations and the album was great too! its lyrics is better than cry baby i think. and she pointed out great things in that movie such as body positivity, period days, trans discrimination and more! there are a lot of parents who don’t inform their childs about their bodies and their watching this movie could be helpful idk. anyways it was cute and great she HAS TO cut some music videos off them and post them as mvs... excited for the 3rd (and hopefully the last) part of this story. and oh my god actually melanie dances SO well

cry baby was an ALBUM that has a visuals, so the songs had a lot of deep meanings and stuff but K-12 is a MOVIE that has an album, so the songs are not that deep and they just tell us the story, everything is clear and is a soundtrack what's NOT clicking? what did you guys expect? my expectations had never gone beyond this and i've known that the album was going to be like this. eventually, the character cry baby will grow up and the "childish" theme is gonna go. cry baby will be a normal human, so the sound of her music will change. maybe the 3rd album will be like this?
