I don’t know if this has been said already, but I think the reason why Lana shows so much love to the younger generation of female artists in her lane (Billie, Olivia, Madison) is because she received so much backlash from women when she came on the scene. People like Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth, who she probably looked up to, constantly trashing her. I think she knows a lot of these younger girls look up to her and is proud to hear the sounds she pioneered be so prominent in modern music.

I think she’ll secure at least 50k pure sales with all these variants. We shall see.

I haven’t listened to the leaks nor do I support them, but in terms of quality and lyricism, are we thinking this is on par with NFR? Also, I’m throwing any hopes of a good Metacritic score out the window after seeing some *alleged* provocative lyrics.

Judging from how Lana has reacted to things like this in the past I say if *something* isn’t done to correct it she’ll drop out. Which is fair enough imo, she’s always pulled big crowds at festivals.

Clearly not prioritized in the press release, though. Which is strange because in her 2020 slot (which I believe wasn’t as strong), she was announced in the title along with the headliners. A fuck up probably, but I think her dropping out would set a good precedent 🤭
