That was my experience in 2020 as well, I think it depends on the time of day you voted. I know my polling place starts getting more people after 5 though once people get off work

back in 2016 my cousins/brother who voted for Trump would tell me that when I’m older I’d understand why…now I’m older and still don’t understand. I did get my brother to vote for Biden in 2020 and Harris this year tho (he was freshly 18 and easily swayed by our cousins, and this year he lives in Texas so his vote matters more than our home state) [also mind you we come from a family of immigrants].

I requested a mail in ballot but it didn’t get here in time for me to be comfortable to mail it back, so I’ll be dragging myself to the polls 1 week post-knee surgery. I live in a blue state but my district has only been blue since 2018, so I’m not taking any chances.

I forgot about Jill Stein not being able to answer how many members of congress there is. Yeah, the Green Party as a political party is a joke. I can see how someone could like there platform and ideologies they put out there but when you actually put them under a microscope and apply some pressure, they crumble. I think I’ve said it before, but why don’t they have any kind of office in the country? They’ve been running presidential candidates for years when they don’t hold any kind of elected office at the city , county, or state level. Even the Forward party which has only existed for a couple years already has a couple elected offices. The Green Party hasn’t been able to do that in all the years they’ve been running

How easy it would be to just up and move your whole family. Once again, I don’t agree with anything the Israeli government is doing, but there is innocent people on both sides of this. We as Americans easily can just get on the internet and talk about how we wouldn’t partake in any of it while living across the world and not actively experiencing any of it. I hate to be dramatic but sitting up on your high horse and choosing not to vote is not the dignified action you think it is. Elections have consequences and if you might think a Trump presidency might not affect you personally doesn’t mean the people around you won’t suffer.
