If you liked Eternally you should try listening to Gloss or the leaked version of True Story! Gloss is similar to Fantasize but more like a lot shorter (kinda of like an interlude)

Sweetener is my all-time fav from Ariana, but I think it was just too left-field for some people coming from Dangerous Woman. Me personally, I would’ve taken some of the Tommy/Max Martin songs and added more of the Pharrell produced songs but that prob would make it worse for people. Dangerous Woman is probably bottom 2 with My Everything for me. Both stacked with hits but the album tracks aren’t as strong/lack cohesion a little bit.

Usually I’d agree but the dress sleeves look crazy similar to Lana’s Grammy dress and the bow with bands combo just adds to it I’m a Ariana stan but it’d be like Lana pulling up with a long ponytail and oversized hoodie

Love Ariana but she literally looks like she's cosplaying Lana

I never hated it, but it was definitely one of my least favs on Ocean Blvd, but it has grown on me a lot. I’m not a fan of Jacks voice and he took me out of the song, if it was solo or more like LTLI, I probably would’ve initially liked it more

For me what’s exciting is that her collabs are pretty indicative about the sound she’s feeling. The Weeknd/BORNS were not too far off the LFL sound which had ASAP Rocky, Hallucinogenics and Nikki Lane were spot on Chemtrails, all the Ocean Blvd era collabs were not too far off from the soundscape. And before anyone says “she had Mike dean make a piano ballad!!!!!” That’s different bc he’s a producer, not a featured artist.

Honestly same, LFL was my #1 for awhile and if you would've asked me even like a month ago what sound I wanted again, it would've been that. But I'm lowkey entering a country era and was excited for Lasso to be full on Country. The not country bops can come in early 2025

Lasso is shaping up to be LFL part 2, which isn’t necessarily bad ok wait but like imagine 12-14 country songs and then a hip-hop banger to close the album
