    Everyone thinks they want one thing, and then find out it wasn't what they wanted. Everyone has conflicting desires. Are you yourself any less hypocritical than her, or is it just easier to critisize lana because she makes her feelings and her journey public?

    lollll people who say it's about her health are LIARS. She used to tell interviewers about how all she eats is junk food, spaghetti, and does a "lemonade diet" but no one was concerned about her "health" because she was skinny. Sometimes people are actually healthier after gaining weight because they're finally getting the amount of food their body needs :true:

    There's a literary term for this that I forget. When a writer disparages their mentor as a way to symbolically break free from their influence. Psychologically, it's kind of the same idea behind why teenagers rebel against their parents.
