some users who are not at all big fans of Taylor are loving this album. The popcrave whatever it's called subReddit is also much more positive about this album than they were about Midnights.

Fave Taylor Albums ATM (after listening to TTPD, minus the bonus tracks):

I may like TTPD more than 1989 in time. I def prefer it to both folklore and Midnights. It's boppier and more fun to listen to than folklore, and lyrically superior to Midnights.

The album is so good to me because it combines the summery 80's nostalgia of 1989, the folky ambiance & lyricism of folklore/evermore, the bedroom pop of Midnights, and the sonic variety of Red. It has a bit of everything for everyone. Although I can tell this will be a transition album for her, I'd consider it part of my top three from her catalog (with folklore and RED TV)
