    Tbh i think there are def Max Martin vault tracks she chose not to release bc they don’t seem to have a working relationship anymore. These are probably the 3 vault tracks that she and Jack worked on + the Diane Warren song.

    I'm honestly thinking she probably recorded 1989 TV sometime in early 2021, and it inspired Midnights (and not the other way around like we originally thought). I doubt the production is anything like the demos, though (compare the OG Forever Winter to the Red TV version).

    Ya sorry I am not listening to these re-recordings ever again. I will continue to stream the originals. And I couldn't give a rat's ass about the vault tracks either. If she drops a better vault at midnight I will listen in the morning bc I am still supremely jet-lagged.

    How TF does a "vaulted" song from 2014 sample "Dear Reader" :smile4:? She honestly should've finished this re-recording nonsense back in 2021 and already be gearing up for TS11.

    I just know there were Max Martin vault tracks that she chose not to release over whatever inevitable petty beef she has with Max Martin and honestly that's a human rights violation. These vault tracks are not at all 1989...they're cute bops, but I know there are superior songs still vaulted. (Blondie just said "with important men who think important thoughts" and people say she's a better songwriter than Lana :thumb3:)

    Wait wtf why are all the instrumentals sounding so different. The production is actually lowkey better than the OG but her vocals are terrible. It sounds like AI, her enunciation is unnatural on songs like "Clean", "I Know Places", "You Are In Love". Like she just says things weirdly? Like the "baby" in IKP or the "silence" in YAIL--everything just feels very breathy and bored and oddly enunciated.

    I think the "producers" are the same as the original in the credits (for non-vault tracks)--it's the people who put together the arrangement that are different now, and idk how to find that out?

    I’d argue that’s on the individual, who takes cues on political matters from celebrities, instead of being well read. The blame, in my opinion, is not with the platform-holders but with their followers.
