I mean, it's kinda not bc this is the first time that happened.

I'm used to do this a lot and I never had any complaints. I also used this for the Lime Green back then and I had no problems w it

Yeah, I missed the part at first, where you said it worked usually.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but I couldn’t help myself and laugh, when I saw your post. After all the anxiety, stress and worries over it, you got cancelled this way. Sorry :bebe:

Yup, it's only reason but like, I don't get it 'cause they never took it from my bank account, it was just something "fictional", let's put it like that. But even then, it's like I've spent something w/o really spending.

I do this all the time and when that happens, they take it from the card and I will only have available the remaining, and then when they ACTUALLY going to take it from me they kind of refund me the exact value so that I have it available for them to REALLY take it lmao

Usually they reserve whatever amount and process it, when it’s due. Sounds like a crappy virtual credit card tbh or at least message the customer support to find out, why that happened to be on the safe side in the future

ok not to sound dumb but i just want a clear answer, i live in ireland and im planning on buying a bundle for €74 (88.20 dollars)

and below on the website it shows what comes with it but it says ''uk only'', im just wondering if all that would still come with my order? especially the signed card. It's a lot of money and i dont really want it to go to waste

If it’s UK only, it won’t ship outside. You‘ll see at the checkout. If you’re in Northern Ireland, it shouldn’t be a problem

the picture disc looks awesome. but one thing remains unclear to me: how do they allow such sales before the official release of the album? why vinyls have already hit the shelves in Wallmart and Target. maybe someone can explain to me if this is done on purpose and I don't understand something in this industry wtf

Well we all saw how even databases couldn’t keep track with the whole date mess. So it wouldn’t be far fetched to assume, that the same mistake happened to retailers and any workers involved.
Unless the boxes are sealed securely, these things are bound to happen.
My favourite leak: Harry Potter. It was a whole thing, which you don’t really see nowadays to that extent

  5. Omg finally something :oprah: Eclipse better not have lied with that vocal comparison to Stargirl Interlude because this snippet ain’t that

also “This is my last post as my album rapidly approaches“

    what posts lmao

i hate Violet and couldnt care less about the second upcoming book:bye: i read it once and its sitting on my shelf

Hate is a strong word and Violet certainly doesn’t deserve that. It’s a cute project; especially combined with the audiobook.
I‘m definitely keeping an eye on your bad taste for the lipsters :assad:

I heard young Americans era Bowie straight away too. Kinda reminds me of ashes to ashes too

You know, after listening to it inbetween some tracks of Young Americans and then in comparison to Golden Years, I have to retract what I said earlier. It is indeed the Young Americans era; especially Fame. Omg I am so excited for the rest of the album.

that's awesome! it'll be a cool thing to have. i'd love to play it to see how it works but it feels like the kind of thing where if you damaged it it would be a nightmare - like how cassettes are really prone to breaking.

Yeah it's definitely a cool collectible and fits the time well, however the quality is even worse than a cassette and wears more easily because of how it works.

can anyone explain why the 8 track has a completely different tracklist? we got copies but we're not familiar with the format and we're confused? its split into "programs"?

    Quote

An 8-track tape consisted of a 1/4"-wide magnetic tape mounted in a continuous loop around a single reel in a plastic cartridge. The tape moved at 3.75 in. per second, and at the end of a track a piece of conductive foil caused the player to change tracks. The single-reel structure could only move forward, so no rewind feature was possible. Another drawback was the fact that albums at the time were typically designed for vinyl records, which had two sides, and often lacked good break points at the one-quarter and three-quarters marks needed to divide them into the tracks of an 8-track, so sometimes songs were divided between two tracks with a noticeable pause in between, or other rearrangements were done to the album.

    http://fileformats.archiveteam.org/wiki/8-Track

Sort of like a LP in "cassette" format. There are 8 tracks on the tape, where you can store up to 4 songs (stereo; 8 mono). That way your reach the length of a LP. So a program is basically what a LP side would be

  10. There is a comment comparing this to Bowie's Young Americans era and I don't really see it. Plastic Soul wasn't this bold. This is definitely more of a Golden Years situation :ma:
