I feel like chemtrails and lust for life are sister albums (the common denominator being Yosemite) and for me this album will feel like a continuation of that after the optimism post-ocean boulevard OB is an incredibly heavy album with a lot of unanswered questions about legacy love and life. Maybe we’ll get some answers on this new record and a more optimistic perspective

For me Ocean Boulevard was her magnus opus (not NFR), so I’m hard pressed to feel as excited as I don’t think anything can really live up to that record. I do feel the same about this pre-release in the sense that it has been uneventful and less exciting than usual.
