This definitely slowed things down but I think the album is not coming yet cause she's accounting for the pressing times... like if we're being realistic this wasn't going to come out this year anyway An album leaking 1 or 2 weeks before release is not the same situation as it leaking 3 or 4 months in advance

Yeah I think she doesn't like when anything leaks of course but she's specially upset about unfinished stuff (cause it was never supposed to be heard) and songs she either loves very much and she considers for new albums or are straight up from the upcoming record...

Maybe she wanted to trigger something by posting about it yesterday? Like maybe they know they can track it if something leaks now and they are waiting for it to happen? I still think it's so weird that she's so concerned about leaks if this happened months ago and nothing surfaced... Of course I understand her being upset with the whole situation when it happened, now and any time she remembers it... it must be really infuriating and heartbreaking.

I think the misinformation came from specific countries (like the US from what I've read here) cause here in Spain the moment the first vaccine came out they made it clear that it would only stop severe disease but you could catch it and transmit it anyway... that's why no restrictions were lifted after long after everyone had their 2 vaccines and the transmission was lower. It didn't make the virus go away quicker but it saved so many lives (specially cause hospitals were not as full as they were before the vaccine and everyone could be treated).

I think he got it from his insider sources as usual but maybe her team saw the speculation and assumed the whole thing leaked? But they should know BOZ by now considering how much info he has leaked from Lana... I still think the thief is not Lana-insider related. It's either someone who wanted to steal some expensive stuff (maybe they knew Lana or maybe not) or someone who "works" by stealing music to sell. Info about the album would have leaked already (if not the songs) if a Lana stan/insider had all those things in their possession.

So I guess the pictures of them filming in that dam were part of the project she was refering to? If it was album related that's probably already saved in another place but I feel like her actual personal footage with her family is the saddest part... it sucks. I hope she had that backed up already cause those are her memories (which I think it's the case since she seemed more worried about it leaking that it being lost)

Maybe her knowing nothing actually leaked would at least be calming for her? But it's weird that she seems to think otherwise (since Ben is usually aware of those things when they reach too many people and get discussed here). Like if this happened today I understand her getting worried about her stuff leaking and telling us in advance not to listen to it but unless she got some kind of update or blackmail it doesn't make much sense... Should we message Ben or something? I don't know how much we can help with this situation other than not listening if something leaks...

The only positive thing out of this fucked up situation is that those songs that were being sold haven't leaked so if something else gets in circulation luckily it won't reach too many hands...

The people selling those songs are probably the ones stealing them, either by hacking or literally breaking into cars and houses. Or at least people who get paid to steal stuff so they can sell it

I don't understand why nobody does anything about that web selling stolen songs (from Lana and countless other artists). Like if a random person like me knows about its existence it's not like is some top secret deep web stuff... and she was probably referring to the songs being sold there since the timeline makes sense

A couple of months ago someone broke into her car and stole her laptop with her book, music (I assume the new album + more) and videos. I think she said also something about a camera but I'm not sure

This whole situation is so confusing... it's weird that she brought this up now when it happened some months ago and nothing leaked. I just hope she's well.

I understand the sentiment but the only people at fault here are the actual leakers and thieves not fans wanting more music Me being excited or impatient about an album announcement doesn't mean I want the album to leak to have it sooner or whatever

Poor Lana this breaks my heart... But luckily this was months ago and nothing new leaked so I hope it stays that way. Apart from the 2 newer songs snippets the other stuff was in circulation for a while so I think CFY, Sugary Sweet and the other UV songs are probably unrelated events. I wonder if she thinks other tracks leaked (but I'd assume Ben reads this forum at least when something leaks so they would know right?)

Stream RAYE she's great I don't think it's about her since he stans her and she released some singles already that he loved so he wouldn't be surprised about loving the album... also she announced the album a couple of days ago so he didn't have to wait some months to talk about it It has to be someone who hasn't even announced it and was mentioned so we are once again left with Lana and Rihanna... Rihanna is allegedly releasing soon but for a soundtrack so I don't know if her album is that close...

I hope we get an album trailer... they are always so exciting (specially if she releases it before any track this time). Like 3 short snippets would be perfect to finally know how is going to sound without spoiling it too much

Yeah honestly if she wasn't listed as the feature just being surprised by the writing credits (+ some backing vocals) would have been so nice... but of course that wouldn't hype enough the track and album I guess... And yes Taylor is more popular and all that but I never listen to her and these weeks I've been checking her albums (and I was going to listen to Midnights as a whole too) and I'm sure I'm not the only one so the collab was also beneficial to her

She also released a single in July so Ben's "soon" could also be 6 months

Luckily unless she has lead credits on it (which would be ridiculous) I don't think it will show cause Stargirl is her second most streamed song daily and it's not on her page
