I need RCS and LYTAN just so we finally discover the whole connection between those songs and WCE My brain still hurts about the whole LYTAN=RCS=/=WCE Boz said that LYTAN (from early Chemtrails) had the rock candy sweet line but he never confirmed that he listened to the RCS that was the title track from BBs first version... (maybe he saw the title and assumed it was the same song). I mean we don't even know if there even was a title track called RCS or if still was named LYTAN and she used that line for the album title... My poor brain It's not simple it's trigonometry

As much as I love shady Lana I'd prefer different topics for the next album even though if she's automatic singing maybe we'll get a lot of different themes in each song A verse about Chuck that cuts into the prechorus about the meaning of life into the chorus about her trips to the grocery store and ends with a bridge/outro about Patty

It's either going to be so iconic or so basic cause it's so weird that she hasn't mentioned it yet It was untitled in May yet she seemed to have a clear concept already for the record so I wonder if she had multiple ones but couldn't decide... I hope we get an interview in November with some info

The previous album/EP is also really good. She found her sound and she's great at it. She's such an underrated songwriter

Yeah there's no way it comes out this year. All the clues lead to LDR9 being finished around late September or early October so the earliest we could get it would be February I guess. If they have a preliminary date for the album I don't see why she wouldn't release at least one single before the year ends tho... The snow ❄️ song probably delayed a bit the rollout start but I think enough time has passed already and they knew beforehand it would happen anyway. Another possibility is that she wants to release everything close together and the rollout will start next year but she usually puts out a song some time before the album is even announced so I don't know why that would change now (also a longer preorder would mean more potential sales and we know Interscope wants that)

He was actually the only one non homophobic and non problematic from the trio tho... all the controversies came from the other two. Yes he was part of the group but I don't think associating with shit people warrants being glad he was killed

At this point is basically confirmed that BOZ listened to her album and Lana saying "it's not coming yet" is probably because they have to wait some months for the vinyl pressings. Neil teasing something coming also lines up with an announcement or single in the near future. After the Weyes stuff we know that he likes to hype up his work with other artists and not just his own photography

I wonder if we're getting a "surprise" announcement from Lana or if insiders are going to spoil it this time. I know we got the triple singles and Arcadia's dates some days before but I think she posted the BB and Arcadia snippets before we knew about them right? It could happen at any minute now

They are probably only in the demo or drowned among everything else Jack put in there I swear to god if he picks up that tambourine again... The guitar moments on NFR were great so he should stick to that (The greatest, VB and MAC are masterpieces). I'm more excited about Drew's infamous orchestra since the one millisecond we got sounds nice (it reminds me of the first second of Religion) and the Arcadia horns are god tier

I've said this a million times but I love how we know nothing about the album. No title, no album cover, not even a song title... all we have is a short snippet that could go anywhere and some vague statements about the sound/theme. It's so exciting

Sorry to go off topic but since we're discussing reeditions: I think BTD 10 anniversary edition didn't happen cause she doesn't want to officially release any demo/outtake from BTD and releasing a new edition with just remixes would be kinda pointless and she knows it (considering there's already a lot of versions of BTD/P). I know she sang You Can Be The Boss before releasing the album and Serial Killer + Us Against The World on tour but other than that she seems over that kind of music (which is sad but I understand it). I still hold onto hope for a special megaedition of BTD+P with songs from both eras tho... but if it was coming next month on the anniversary we would know by now I guess
