They also put a recording of the ad in the tweet below. I found another tweet from the same ad (from Interscope this time) from October 27th so it's been going on for a while

It's finally happening

I'm curious about what numbers she could pull off this time cause Chemtrails had some of the things you mentioned (like different vinyls and a high budget MV) and did like 75k in the US which is great but it was NFR's followup so there was hype regardless... even though the promo was a bit chaotic and there was a lot of controversy too (plus the pandemic) so I'm not sure if the numbers would be higher or lower in a different climate Her streaming is huge now but it depends on what type of music she's putting out next... I guess she could release a not so slow song as a lead without compromising her artistic vision since there's always some tracks like that on her albums (Dealer and IWLDWM are the most streamed songs from BB and weren't singles so imagine if she started the era with one of those...). BB was a bit of an outlier anyway since many people didn't even know it was coming out

Her streams (minus SOTB obviously) are basically the same as when she had about 30M before the collab so the numbers are kinda inflated by people listening only to Taylor's album But she was (and still is) doing great anyway

Couldn't get into the last album at all but Set My Heart On Fire Immediately is an amazing record

So simple yet so pretty . Since those are the only visuals we have from this era so far I'll forever associate them to this coming album even if the aesthetic ends up being completely different

Chemtrails had a lot of potential but in the end it seems like they couldn't decide between the dreamy eerie pictures (those with the blue background and the fog ?) and the "I am one with my piano" pictures BB visuals were pretty and cohesive since everything was taken from the same MV/set and it made sense with the album topics but yeah I want something really different for the next one... even if it's random like the scrapped NFR photoshoot everything about it was so chaotic

At this point if nothing comes out in the next ~ 2 weeks it's probably all starting next year cause it makes no sense to kick off an "era" just before Christmas if their plan is to promote it properly (cause if it was solely Lana's decision we would have a song by now even without the album coming soon).

First one makes a lot of sense considering boz couldn't directly say he listened to Lana's album but leaked WCE lyrics as soon as he heard it

I think those 3 are the only confirmed ones yep. I guess we'll have a Rick track too but it's probably mainly Drew

LDR9 is a trap album and has an interlude remixing Pachelbel's Canon in D Major which is also sampled in the title track

Neil just announced a project called Horrorscope for today... let's hope our flowers don't make an appearance Edit: looks like it's a movie inspired by a novel and there's also another movie with the same name from 2019

I don't want Rockefeller to be the first single cause I want to be surprised when I hear it on the album (unless it's literally called Rockefeller ) Kinda like BBS having the voice memos lyrics (if insiders didn't spoil that one just before release )

I have a love hate relationship with Coachella... in my mind it's hideous and the instrumental sounds cheap but when I put it on I just vibe and STARWAYYY STARWAY TO HEAAAAVEN I also have so many great memories attached to the LFL era and 2017 as a whole so I guess that helps

Why does the first gif look like Lana

Do you think we're really getting no color on LDR9? I feel like she was exaggerating a bit with her description cause I can't imagine a Lana album without pretty metaphors and allusions to the color blue or her red/white/party dress

She'll probably just post the single cover by Neil Krug with the date or a snippet without any additional info I'd be happy either way I just need something from miss Lala
