I love that this era is so mysterious cause I don't even remember what is it to listen to a whole Lana album without knowing almost every song already. BB we had 9/15 (10 if you listened to Dealer) For Chemtrails 3 (or 5 if you count the two songs that were performed live) but it was a short album. For NFR we had at least snippets from EVERYTHING except Bartender So I hope it stays that way this time and we get only like 1 or 2 pre release songs. I just want to dive into one of her albums blind without knowing what to expect with a lot of tracks to discover and I don't have the willpower to not listen to snippets and singles

I have a wild theory: I was in my daily Blue Banisters listen (cause I adore it and I'm still not over it) and every time I finish Arcadia I think about how iconic and weird is to follow up that song with The Trio Interlude... but this time I had a revelation. What if that was a sign for the things that are coming? Arcadia is the epitome of BB, a reflective piano ballad with tinges of anger and responses to criticism but The Trio is a sample from a soundtrack with added trap beats, something totally unrelated and kinda made just for fun... so I think it was her way of saying "I've talked my shit, now it's time to get wild" It then goes into BBS which also has a sample at the start and similar themes of anger and criticism but this time in a more experimental and chaotic way... just what I expect from LDR9 And yeah maybe The Trio was just a way to tie together Arcadia and BBS but that theory is not that fun so let's ignore it

I don't have a problem with unreleased tracks in her albums... I just don't like that particular song I'd prefer Fine China if she's taking from that era/sound (or Your Girl but I don't think she would release that one at this point)
