I've seen a lot of Melodrama comparisons and they kinda make sense if you look at the album visuals... I mean I don't expect a full on pop record with that aesthetic

They also made a twitter thread about the songs and it's all so vague... not a single detail of any track besides (I like the production etc.) but since I'm not sure if he's reliable or not idk... he seems at least known among the swifties so

Manifesting Lana having the whole second verse for her, one of the choruses and at least part of the bridge (with both of them singing some other parts together). It would be really cute if they also have some back and forth parts I hope it's an actual duet and not a 2 liner feature...

I love how SOTB is a love song but it's still explicit... I'm sure it's because of Lana By the way I know it doesn't necessarily mean that but I hope that being the longest song means that she has at least a solo verse and chorus/bridge...

I think the "leaks" were posted by someone working at target so it means they have the physicals but they'd have to fuck up big time to sell them before Friday... even though there's a lot of Target stores so one might slip She's doing a worldwide release and I don't really want to wait till 6AM so I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it to leak at least the day before... sorry blondie

Well the insider stuff got already debunked... that was quick I still expect something slow or mid tempo at most which I prefer cause I think that's what would suit them the best I hope we get some Lana high notes Stargirl style

This is going to be such a slow week since nothing will happen until the Taylor collab and then we'll enter another cycle of speculation about how far the lead single actually is I hope she just announces it the same day she posts about Snow On The Beach... (if she even acknowledges it )

Is that insider even reliable? Cause it sounds like what Taylor fans would want (max martin bop, ryan tedder chorus etc) kinda like when Lana fake insiders say "it has UV guitars and BTD strings with HM cinematic sound"

Those descriptions sound kinda fake to me... the Lana track being slow I kinda expect it but everything else seem weird. Lavender is the lead single yet they are going to promote more than one song at once to see what sticks?

The last album was good sonically but the lyrics were awful

I think she'll eventually go again but only if she had some big category nominations like another AOTY nod... I don't think she would bother for pop vocal album for example

I don't think BB having at least some nominations would be THAT unlikely... every year there are some albums that didn't make much noise in the nominations and some even win (for example Beck winning AOTY over Beyonce when his album was neither commercially or critically more successful than hers...) I kinda just want it to happen so she can attend and we get some nice red carpet pictures

Do we know if something from the Euphoria soundtrack has been submitted? Maybe since it was for the show they are the ones that could submit it and not Lana's team directly

I don't think Dua was ever the reason for Lana doing not so much promo for the last 2 records... it's was probably a mix of the albums being released during the pandemic and Lana only caring about releasing the music itself NFR era had a lot of promo (for Lana standards) and Dua was with TAP

That was a very interesting interview I love when artists explain their creative process. I wonder if we'll get the next thing relatively soon since she had to sit on this album for 2 years... Either way I'm happy with what we got. It's such a great album and it gets better with every listen (my only complaint is that I prefer the old version of I Don't Know How To End) And yeah I agree Am I Still Your Baby was a clear highlight among the new stuff I'm obsessed with that one
