Patiently waiting for Ben to post about the Taylor song and say something about a beautiful record coming soon 🚀✨️
-
In the video she uploaded about the making of Midnights there's a little clip of her in a snowy beach (?) but it might just be an easter egg about the title and nothing else Imagine if it is the lead single with a big budget MV tho... Lana's first number one on Billboard She usually just puts out one MV for every album lately... but since this is her first non pandemic and non rerecording album in a while I hope she puts out various so we have more chance of Lana's track being one. I'm more worried about a MV existing but Lana not making and appearance tho

We know we are at least getting that

I don't think anyone here thinks like that. She's probably releasing soon not cause she's popular right now but because she has an album almost done and we know she doesn't like to sit on albums. But anyway she's still signed to a major label so of course they will try to capitalize on hype and popularity. Nobody is demanding her music now just so she charts or whatever, we want new music cause we are Lana fans
-
We don't know about that tho... It's not unusual for artists to work in multiple songs together for their projects (specially for artists that don't collab that much) I guess it's either country leaning or something similar to Taylor's last 2 albums (the new ones not the rerecordings). I can't see Lana jumping into a popsong in 2022 haha (but we don't know yet what's the sound of Taylor's new album so who knows... I wish she released a single already just so we knew

I wonder if we'll see a spike in streams just because of the announcement alone... I'm aware that there's already some overlap between their fanbases but I guess some new people will check her music now that she's on their fave's album I know streams are not that important for her or for us but the more successful Lana is the more freedom and risks they will let her take (and more budget if she, for some reason decides to use it ) I'm so excited for everything that's coming in the near future

Now I'm 100% sure the actual era is going to start soon. Our theory of them wanting to wait until the Taylor collab is almost confirmed Her streaming resurgence + Taylor exposure is going to make sure the lead single does well

Another quick little bingo (lyric edition): 1. Jim/Bill takes her down somewhere 2. Not being a candle in the wind 3. Being either wild or crazy (bonus points if she's both) 4. Something being sweet like rock candy 5. Being spun around 6. Referencing the color blue in her no colors era 7. References to famous painters 8. Her karmic lineage 9. Leaving her current city/state to go to another 10. Her imaginary kids/maternity related lyrics

I think the picture she uploaded of Lana yesterday was from the Italy trip too I hope they actually recorded some footage there even if it's just for an album trailer (+ the GKIT video making an appearance somehow)
-
Omg the video of her pouring the spoiled milk down the drain was a clue all along
-
I'm fighting the urge to search for clues on her post cause she never does that and the caption is literally what the picture is, the last minutes of daylight But delusion is a dangerous thing for a Lana stan like me to have - but I have it
-
I honestly thought she uploaded the single cover on IG After LFA and VB anything can be a cover
-
You were right

We can still get it in November with the Paradise Edition they vinyl doesn't need to be done to announce it but since it would probably overlap with LDR9 in the case that it happens the release date would be far. The anniversary edition of Electra Heart was announced in April but was shipped like a week ago Either way, if nothing comes out it's 99% Lana not wanting to cause it would sell really well so I'm sure Interscope has at least asked her to do it

I hope Jon Batiste is indeed involved in the production so we get that jazz influence. His last album is very upbeat jazz (more swing I guess) so I don't think it would sound like that but the previous one (Hollywood Africans) is more on the acoustic side while retaining some of those influences and it sounds just like the Rockefeller snippet
-
We have studio pictures/videos with - Drew Erickson - Jack Antonoff - Jon Batiste - Ian (still don't know which one) Unless Ian is from the team of one of the other producers and Jon was there just to listen to the song/album we already have 4 different producers. Drew will add orchestra + piano. Jack the 808 drums + piano (tinny) and Jon the jazz Add the mandatory Rick Nowels and Zach tracks and we have 6+ producers and sounds

Definetly... Doja has almost 55M and had less streams than Lana with 30M. There are also a lot of artists with 40M+ because they have a hit currently but majority of those listeners are only streaming that particular song and just by doing that once it adds up to the counter
