She was probably just exaggerating about the no colors and automatic singing thing. As some of you already said, she always describes her album based on the last songs she wrote for it so I expect a lot of BB/WFWF but we're definitely getting some classic Lana too in there. Just look at Text Book, the verses and lyrics are very post NFR Lana but the chorus/post chorus melody sounds straight out of BTD (minus the production of course). I'm sure she'll say blue at least 3 or 4 times during the album I'm also conflicted about her saying it's nothing like Honeymoon but she went from ignoring its existence to acknowledging it a lot lately (and why was she singing GKIT in Italy in the church she filmed the UV MV? It would make more sense if she was signing the UV title track and Chuck was even filming it but they never posted the whole thing from her phone. Maybe LDR9 concept is the (even more) twisted version of HM and that was for the album trailer

Right. And it's not like it would be for promo reasons cause I doubt anyone other than Lana fans would read Ben's IG comments We are going to buy her albums regardless so I take Ben's words as a nice gift for us so we know it's coming

So Ben went from "music in the works" to "music incoming" to "album coming soon" in just 2 weeks so at least we know now that we are not getting another NFR with random singles without an album in sight a year early. The fact that he specifically said album has to mean that it's done (so the vinyl are already being pressed as we speak or we are getting it early via digital only). I don't think CDs and cassettes take that much time so maybe we are getting everything but the vinyl first

A new song on the way and insiders still seem clueless... if she manages to put out the new track without anyone spilling I think we are getting our first "blind" era (even though I expect at least the release date leaking like a week before unless Lana announces it early)

She probably just forgot to follow back Rick on the HM account But either way, didn't he kinda confirm working on LDR9 in some fans DMs? It was something like "are you working on new music with Lana?" and he responded with some emojis (like sparks? I can't remember). It could be fake but I vaguely remember that they also posted a screen recording to make clear they were real messages but maybe I'm mixing things and it was already confirmed fake sorry It could also just be an old song (leaked or maybe unheard). I don't think there's a single Lana album that doesn't have at least 1 Rick track so I hope they don't break the streak now

Lana is too trigger happy. She probably finishes a song and has to contain herself from posting a snippet right away from the studio but I feel like her managers wouldn't tease something if they didn't already have a real release date for the near future (like within a month or so)

Manifesting a visually cohesive era with different single covers from the album photoshoot I can't take anymore selfies even if she looks stunning in them

Wait... I didn't even think about that possibility and I hate it At the same time that would be better than having nothing while waiting for the album but I got too excited about LDR9 and that's all I want right now

If the album was finished late May we could have a mid September release that mirrors HM (a couple of songs out in the summer and another single with the album release in September) but I don't think the album is done and if she's already releasing stuff I think we'll have a long pre release Maybe it's not even the proper lead single and she's just releasing a random song she loves from the album to give us a taste like she usually does

What if he reposted that selfie when they decided that "Peach fuzz" would be the lead single and now the date is getting closer so he mentioned new music again

Hmm I feel "incoming" would be closer than "soon" but maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part... But the rocket emoji could mean it's taking off so it's imminent

So maybe the fake insiders saying June guessed it right? We need a timeline of every time Ben said "soon" and how soon it really was. I feel like he wouldn't say that without already having a release date locked so I'm thinking late June - July

Finally confirmation we knew about the album obviously but now we actually know it's coming soon We have no album title, no song titles, insiders are clueless as we are... I'm so excited

I remember something about a tour some time ago but it was probably lfl who said it so She said singing with Nikki on bars made her want to take the stage again but I don't expect a big tour anytime soon

Agreeing with what @Brow Bone said I feel the next record is going to be her most personal yet (I know this phrase gets thrown around a lot sorry ) but not in a - I tell you really personal experiences - but in a "I'll try to explain who I really am and where I come from" way. She mentioned in the W Magazine that she thought people would get to know her through her music, interviews etc but she realized she had to be more literal for people to really get what she was trying to convey. She did a really great job on WFWF going straight to the point so I hope for more songs like that. I wonder if she's finally "allowed" to talk about her family and if she's going to elaborate on the karmic lineage thing. Don't get me wrong, all of her music is extremely personal but a lot of it is hidden behind (beautiful) metaphors and imagery that set the tone but make the message more obscure (but it's part of the magic of Lana's music). She found the right balance between metaphorical and literal on BB so I'm sure the next one is going to be great too but I'm a bit scared if she's taking out a big part of what made her music so special (like she said, there's no space for color on this album)

We should try to infiltrate Lana's dreams to give her our ideas but she said she doesn't sleep a lot so the timing is crucial

Those (+ Arcadia) are probably the most recent songs she wrote (not counting the LDR9 sessions ofc) so I also think the album is going to be similar to those tracks. As much as I want a total 180 turn in sound, I think LDR9 is going to be an extension of BB minus the unreleased tracks and I'm here for it cause I adore the newer songs but I also hope she expands her sound in other ways than just piano ballads with faint strings

It's probably just cause SS was playing on that Portofino restaurant but she also added the W Magazine stuff Manifesting it's a song title (just like Icy Waves and Peach Fuzz). Every time this thread gets on the "recently updated" page I get excited and scared at the same time I don't think it's coming anytime soon (if it even exists). I wish I could ask Lana why she keeps "announcing" projects and never releasing them but not in a blaming way, I'm genuinely curious maybe she thinks they are not good enough or the label prioritizes original albums over side projects (I'm with them on this)

I wish I had those detailed dreams too. Last time I had a Lana dream was when she was screaming at me through the phone and I woke up scared for my life

I think they were just celebrating Memorial Day but if there's Chuck there's a potential MV being filmed Manifesting blonde again or the BTD reddish hair

I don't mind waiting a couple of months while she finishes the album, gets a rollout plan and all that but what annoys me is that we'll have to wait like 3-4 months after it's done just because of the stupid billboard rules I guess she'll use the waiting time to start writing the next record or to hopefully start the current era properly. If she spaces things well a 4 month rollout could be nice. She could release the lead single just as she sends the record to the vinyl plants and then use the remaining time to release the MV and a couple of singles I just don't want random singles with no follow-up for months
