Knowing Taylor she probably didn't submit Fearles just to not compete with Evermore But yeah I don't think competition matters cause NFR for AOTY (and the title track too) was a once in a lifetime thing cause for some reason they ignore Lana. Unless they stop switching her to the pop categories I don't see her getting a Grammy anytime soon (not that it matters... I'd be lowkey more excited for the looks on the ceremony and the little interview than the award itself ) It would be so funny if she gets something for BB tho... but it's probably going to share the same fate as Chemtrails

I'm dying to see the album photoshoot. I wonder if it will be similar to the W Magazine pics. Do artists usually have some kind of input on magazine photoshoots (like the general vibe of it) or is it all on the photographer/creative director to pick the concept or vision they want for the shoot? Like the BTD and UV era magazines all had somewhat of a cohesive image with the album's theme but others are mostly random. I guess it also depends on the type of publication. Fashion magazines would focus more on well, fashion trying to showcase particular collections or designers

We literally got 2 albums last year (plus 2 new songs this one) and I'm anxious for new Lana as if we had a 5 year gap between records I just can't get enough In my defense I have to say I'd be way more patient if we didn't knew that an album is coming soon

I wonder if she's taking until her birthday for herself and the era will start soon after that. It's not like she's going to do much promo anyway but she'll probably want to spend time with her friends and family instead of having to think about the start of her album cycle If the album is indeed coming sometime in the next 3-4 months I can't see them waiting much more to put something out. She's doing really great on streaming right now and even if it's mostly old tracks (+NFR which I'd consider "new Lana") at least a portion of the new listeners/fans would check a new Lana release. It's the perfect time

I think the label would still want at least a month between announcement and album to build hype and do (probably small amounts) of promo. But a single announcement with the album coming just a month after it would be a dream I still think a full surprise release could happen if they have the physicals as you said so I agree

So if we rule our the latest Rob updates... the album could have been finished in April. We have the Drew video (that's 99% for LDR9) and the random Jack piano song they recorded in April but they weren't planning on doing it so maybe it's for the next record. She also posted the peach fuzz selfie in April and it's the only one Ben reposted . I'm sure that was their sign of "album is done" We could be getting the album as soon as August with a single pretty soon and it would make sense with Ben teasing music and saying an album is coming soon. I'd be fine with a September/October release tho... considering BB would be barely 1 year old at that point

It wouldn't make much sense to re release the album without adding some extra songs so maybe Lana didn't want to release the outtakes and that's why it didn't happen at all

My only hope is that they are waiting to re release the whole BTD + Paradise in November but I don't think it's happening... the fact that she didn't even post a picture about BTD on its anniversary

It's in the video she uploaded with Drew in the studio (the one where he's turning music sheets). It's on her HM account but maybe someone uploaded elsewhere too

I know people (me included) think of piano when Drew is mentioned but he's (probably) also the one that added the gorgeous IYLDWM outro so I have hope for a broader and fuller sound in some of the LDR9 songs. The Arcadia horns were also very nice. The micro snippet we have from his studio also sounds promising (and Lana cutting the video right when the music starts makes me think it is indeed one of her songs)

I'm starting to think it has always been his album. He said multiple times things like "epic project", "recording a beautiful album", "listening to newly minted music" but it's always him alone in the pictures and he doesn't even tag Lana and Ben only liked one of the "album related posts" by Rob. We know Lana's album is coming thanks to W Magazine and Ben teasing but I think Rob has been misleading us

He's so unintentionally funny I love Rob And this HAS to be for his own stuff. Why would he fly alone to London to play the piano for Lana's music Everything about this makes less and less sense as time goes by

There's so much disconnect between her looks this year and what I expect the album to sound like. She's giving Italian glam + baddie + hot rich mom but the music description is giving metaphysical essay (nothing wrong with that as long as melodies don't suffer). Also I'm clueless anyway cause we haven't heard anything She's doesn't really do "eras" anymore and I guess her looks would reflect (if it's even related) the album writing/recording period only cause she probably moved on onto the next record at this point. She could be finishing a second album already and we wouldn't know a thing

I don't like the spoken part on UV. It's iconic and all that but it takes me out of the song. I wish the bridge (the first part) went directly into the final chorus. It's the same with Carmen so I guess I don't like when the flow of the song gets interrupted It works for me in High By The Beach cause it's at the end and with the vocals + instrumental in the background it doesn't clash that much.

I had my first Lana related dream in some time and it was literally just me browsing LB while nothing was happening so maybe it wasn't even a dream and I was just half asleep I think it's the acronym of every Lana album title combined

Wondering if she'll channel her anger with the lyrics or the vocals (or both ). I want heroin bridge/outro energy
