Tomorrow will be the first day of the Anna Cofone NY Tour so let's see if we get at least some clues in the coming days. Imagine if we get an advent calendar style thing where we get a bts picture every day 10 days seem a really long time to film or shoot something tho... I didn't know Tropico took just 2-3 days Even if they are shooting all the visuals now the album could still be coming "soon" right? I don't think vinyl sleeves and all that take that much time to get produced (I hope). But I still think the album photoshoot was done back in May with Neil right before she went to NY

I'm not really worried about getting another "samey" album (even though I find her last 3 albums different enough) cause she wrote them in a really short span of time (and BB is basically just an EP worth of new stuff considering half of the songs were old). I don't think she's doing another BTD-UV level of jump this time but I'm confident we're getting something new sonically even if it's a natural progression from BB. I just know we're in for a treat

Imagine if the Anna Cofone thing is a multiple days shoot cause she's doing another Tropico style short movie with a lot of looks Enough daydreaming but it's definitely something for Lana, it's too specific to be unrelated maybe it's just a magazine cover but I'd be happy with that too

I wonder what was Hollywood's final production cause the leaked version sounds pretty similar to what I'd expected from a Lana track those days Maybe it's this album's Rick track I know people don't want unreleased songs on her new albums but some songs are just too iconic (I'd prefer if she released the compilation but it's not happening sadly)

I don't think timing would matter tho. If she waits 2 years for the next album she'll probably have the next 2 already written. BB came so fast after Chemtrails cause she was already working on it before we even knew it (Chemtrails) was coming (and obviously because of the delays). At this point of her career with nothing to prove to her label she has the freedom to write and write whatever she wants and all will eventually find a home. If the next album is full of piano ballads, it will be full of piano ballads whether it comes out this year or in 2030.

I agree with you but I think the issue with her is that she was treated so badly at the beginning of her career that no matter the acclaim (NFR for example) she will always feel not respected enough in the industry

I wish we had a date to look forward to even if it was far. We had a lot of teasing and clues but I need decisive evidence that something is coming relatively soon

The 2018-2019 timeline is so confusing cause they said they basically made 2 albums at the same time (cause they had 2 distinct sounds) but Jack also said there were some "bombastic" songs that didn't fit either of those. Maybe CG and FIILY came from that third section of songs cause they are as upbeat as Lana gets lately They already had the "Chemtrails songs" picked and they probably didn't make sense on BB so I think there's a possibility we're getting some of those tracks on LDR9 Unless they don't fit this album either and we're getting them on LDR14

I'll do some predictions cause there's nothing to talk about: - 10-12 tracks - Drew as the main producer - A Rick track (probably an unheard outtake) - Only a couple Jack tracks (some 2019 outtake and the April piano song) - Sonically in between HM and BB (same singer songwriter vibes but with more lush orchestral production) - Neil photoshoot - 2 part album trailer. One by Rich Lee with some kind of storyline (similar to the LFL one or that Interview Mag video) and another using some random footage filmed by herself and Chuck with some snippets. - 3 MV: Two high-medium budget ones with Rich and a more lowkey one filmed by Chuck or just arranged by herself - Song titles: I have no idea but I'm sure some of the captions from the HM posts have some clues (whether it's lyrics or titles) - Release date: Definitely something in the summer (at least 1 single). I can see the album coming in September or October This is not necessarily entirely what I want but what I expect from the little we know about the album and my overanalyzing of her Instagram posts
