The way she's repeaking for a 2nd? 3rd? time 10 years into her career LDR9 is going to be huge if it has at least NFR's level of promotion

I just hope we get to know what DNC means cause it will haunt me forever otherwise At least the LDRV director can tell us eventually if it was just a random logo to resemble the NFR jacket or something (but I still have faith it's LDR9 related)

I'm so excited about Lana saying Drew added orchestra to the songs. That means it's not just piano and some lone strings in the background but a full on cinematic production (at least for some songs, she'll probably have a couple of piano only ballads)

Maybe they were finally able to keep the album stuff secret this time but I definitely expect the details about the lead single "leaking" at least a week before its release

At least the waiting will be for the best this time cause I feel like once something is announced we'll get everything in quick succession afterwards. I mean the fact that she used a Lana photo not once but twice for the NY thing has to mean is Lana related to some degree... if not it would be just cruel to tease us like that for no reason All we need now is Lana posting in NY to confirm there's something happening

What makes Lana even harder to predict is the fact that she never ever follows trends (Maybe the trap elements of LFL were the closest we have of Lana doing something similar to the musical climate of that time). With other artists you can expect their next album to be either disco or pop punk or whatever is popular now but with Lana you'll never know I'm obviously not bashing artists that follow trends but part of Lana's magic in my opinion is that she's on her own lane and artistic path

Wasn't The Revenge of Lana Del Rey one of the working titles for BTD? It made no sense back then cause nobody knew who LDR was but now it would be kinda cheesy (?) idk. I'd love it for camp reasons but I'd prefer something less explicit if she went into the whole revenge thing. Maybe just one word like Vengeance or something similar would be better.

That's probably it cause 10 days is too much (unless they are shooting multiple MV and even some magazine covers with some days to rest in between) I want to think it was finished back in May right before she went to NY and Italy and now she's shooting some MVs or promo pictures while they wait for the vinyl process Neil had a secret photoshoot back then (I'm sure it was for Lana) so maybe she already has something for the lead single and the NY thing is for further promo of the album per se @/annacofone on IG

She has to... she's the queen of summer. Summertime Sadness (obviously) and Doin Time are her most popular songs. Even HBTB is slowly picking up on streaming again... People love summery Lana and her label should capitalize on that (even though she doesn't care). Maybe they could use the HM strategy with a more upbeat and "commercial" lead single to catch some attention even if the record is more lowkey
