I think one of the reasons (other than of course being great music) is that it sounds so timeless that it doesn't feel dated at all even 10 years later. The perfect blend of pop and classic Excluding some outliers her music is aging extremely well and it's showing I also love the fact that it's not only BTD getting popular again, NFR and UV are doing great too and even Chemtrails and BB had their moments with the title track and Dealer. Lana's a living legend

It's apparently coming this month but knowing her we'll probably have to wait until the last Friday of August

Someone on another forum said they heard the song but didn't think she was going to release it (so they were surprised when the W Magazine interview came out). Maybe the song is very personal... or maybe it's not good

I think some big Lana account made a thread recently with all the "leaked" info about the album (from that big list from that website) and now it's all over twitter and IG. They probably saw the post someone made transcribing it here and thought they were the actual source. It's always funny reading "according to Lanaboards insiders" in big update Lana accounts

I just want her to go blonde for the album photoshoot. The only era with blonde hair was Chemtrails and the cover is in B&W (at least we have the alt version I guess). Now I wonder if she already has the cover shot and some MVs filmed. She used to always have at least a couple of MVs ready before announcing stuff but I don't know if that's the case anymore

Maybe she's releasing the country + covers album before LDR9 She can even surprise release it to fulfill her wish cause I'm sure Interscope won't have any commercial expectations about it

LDR9 is not going to be country and even if it is, she'll probably put out a different record in 2 years anyway I'd understand if people got kinda upset if they had to wait 4+ years for their fave's album and ended up being a genre they dislike but luckily that's not the case with Lana (plus she has a huge back catalog already). I also want to add that Lana's fanbase is very diverse, just cause the reception for her last 2 albums (and the hypothetical country record) didn't seem that positive, it doesn't mean that nobody liked those albums/direction. I'd also want a crazy 180° musical turn but I also loved Chemtrails and BB so I wouldn't really mind another record on the acoustic/folky side. At the end of the day LB, Twitter, etc. are just a little sample of all the different opinions and tastes people have

She once said she considers Video Games and Ride country songs (and I kinda see it) so anything could happen The 2 country songs with Jack were so good and her music with Nikki too, my only complaint is that their voices don't match AT ALL. But anyway, I'm sure it's a side project and not LDR9 related

Kinda... but the last time she talked about country she said that she wanted to fuse that record with the covers one so I doubt she's talking about LDR9 but maybe she's releasing that first while she finishes the main one

She probably meant something along the lines of "I really love country I hope you guys like the same things as me". There's nothing in the W Magazine that sounds like "I'm doing a country record" and she said it clearly in that magazine before Chemtrails (the only time she accurately described her next record with the country and folk thing )

I discovered it from Plumbella (?) I think (a sim youtuber) but when I'm in the mood I just type "phasmaphobia VOD" or whatever and just binge watch anything I find

I don't play it but I love watching videos of people playing it

That's literally how I imagined it "sounding" There's no way she fits a normal melody with all those words unless it's the whole fucking verse or she goes full White Dress on it Or maybe it's like Wild At Heart's second verse that starts melodically but ends up spoken

I wish she could update us on the album (even though she kinda did with the interview but she didn't say anything about dates which honestly... it's for the better ) I want a taste of the album so bad but if it's not coming "soon" I think I prefer if everything comes out closer together
