I don't think she's ever getting another #1 album in the US. Even without accounting for new releases there are albums still doing more than 60k because of huge streaming numbers. Unless she goes all out for the promo, has all the physicals ready and gets 1 or 2 "hits" before the album she's not even seeing the top 3 sadly At least she'll probably get the top spot in the UK and the pure sales one in the US

The fact that that photo made it into an official magazine release... it really looks like she just got run over by a car or she's from the walking dead cast

I think the most realistically way she could do a "surprise" release would be by announcing the whole album (with cover, tracklist, preorder, etc) the same day as the lead single. It wouldn't really be a surprise release but a "surprise announcement" would do for me It would be a nice change after the last 3 really stretched out eras full of uncertainty

The cuts on the snippet seem to synchronize with the cuts on the video so I guess it was something that was playing in the background back then and not something new added by her now... unless she put a new snippet over it and then cut it all for the post I don't recognize it either but it's her voice so I'm confused

HM, then LFL and now the video with Hope in the background (NFR)... What if she's going in order and today she posts something Chemtrails related, something about Blue Banisters tomorrow and then LDR9 on Tuesday

I think when people want a LFL 2.0 they (we) are talking about to the original concept and not what we got. The trailer, the LFL demo, the space sounds in some of the songs, the Neil photoshoot... it could have been great I don't think we are getting anything similar to that tho. We're probably just overanalyzing her post (just like when she posted the Tropico stripper scene after qftc)

Now that hype died down a bit... I can't see Lana dropping clues like that. The only time (I think) we got "easter eggs" was on the LFL trailer (funnily enough) with those symbols (that I think were about the collabs). She's probably excited to have an astronomical event on her birthday and remembered that line on the trailer mentioning Tuesday. I will still look forward to the 21st but if nothing happens I won't be that disappointed cause something is coming soon anyway

I still think it was for Lana. He's not the type to get all mysterious about his work cause he usually just tags the artist and Lana is his bigger client... it would make no sense to hype up a random model/unknown singer. He knows Lana fans are lurking It was just before she went to NY (or flew to Italy I don't remember) but she also did the whole W Magazine photoshoot in one day so I don't think timing was an issue. If it was indeed for Lana the fact that they did it all in one day has to mean they had a clear concept and aesthetic going on for the album and it wasn't just a random "hey Neil come to my house and let's see what we get out of it"

Yep. It's more on the Grammy than on her team. Last year Kacey Musgraves submitted everything to the country categories and then went on a rant cause they put her on pop (rightfully tho cause the last album had little country) The Halsey thing was weird cause it wasn't a "pure" pop album but neither were Paradise or LFL and they were nominated in the pop categories so who knows... maybe it was because of the producers of something Alternative as a genre is also hard to define so...
