Well I just saw an alleged new snippet from Lana but I don't know if I'm allowed to post anything about it in case it's for the new album . It's probably old but every tweet with it got deleted so... or maybe it's just an old song that I don't remember hearing the snippet

I think the only "clue" we have is that she didn't delete the june 1st post... but still I don't think she would announce a single that far. I think it was just the old album release date and title. I still think we'll get something in June, at least the BB MV or the preorder and such with a new single.

I know this may be her "I'm not saying anything at all" era but I really want some kind of interview or something to learn more about the album . Maybe she'll just let the music talk this time so no one can complain about what she says

Wait I just realized that the BB cover she posted with the July 4th date and the actual BB single cover are different... (I mean edition wise) so maybe it is indeed the album cover... I'd love if it was the untagged selfie with just the filter and nothing else.

I think it's similar to Dealer as in it didn't really fit into Chemtrails so that's why it didn't make the cut. I'm curious about when was it written. Maybe for the LFL sessions where she wrote a lot of concept songs and demos. Idk why but I've always thought they were just poems... maybe we'll found out when she releases the tracklist or the next book

When she talked about writing Venice Bitch she said something like she really liked the melody but she wasn't sure about what kind of song to make like a slow song, a jam etc. So it's not like she is just stuck making "slow" songs, she just goes with what feels good to her for that particular song. And she always puts a couple of more uptempo songs even on her slower albums. I don't think she would hire Mike for this album to make songs that could be produced by the other producers (I mean all the 3 singles sound somewhat similar production wise) so I guess she wanted to put out these 3 first maybe as a transition between Chemtrails and BB. Lana is constantly evolving so I trust this new chapter that I'm already enjoying.

So what do we think the thing boz didn't believe she was doing was/is? - releasing 3 songs at the same time without saying anything? - the 3 songs having the same selfie cover edited differently? - the really personal lyrics? - the producers? I think she has something else in store for us to blow us away even more (but I don't think boz had much more info that what we have now at that time so...)

It was hard reading like 200+ pages I missed while being away these weeks but I'm back. It was really fun reading all your theories when I had already heard the 3 songs . The songs didn't really click with me at first (I guess they are not that accessible and the fact that I had to listen to them the first time from my shitty phone with no earphones didn't help) but after keeping them on repeat all day I really love them. The lyrics are great (like one of her best) and I didn't expect her to release 3 songs THAT personal at once. I like the choruses but I find the verses a bit weird (still love them tho). Now as in theories about the album I'm really lost. I don't know why would she release 3 songs at once (with the alleged title track being one of them). If BB has a video (a somehow high budget one) why would the label call them buzz singles . I still think the album is coming this summer. Maybe she'll release the proper lead with a big video in the coming months and the BB visuals or whatever after the album (a la NFR). Anyway I'm very excited about this era and I have the feeling that the real gems are still hidden in the album.

Do we have any type of confirmation about what dealer is? I mean we know (I think it's confirmed) that it's from the same session of California (and that album with TLSP) but do we know if it was recorded back then or it was just written and she recorded it for Chemtrails? Maybe there are 2 versions out there

The fact that they were probably joking and everyone started talking about this Broken Hearted Debutante project reminded me of when that thai (?) girl posted about LMLYLAW and everybody made fun of her

What if the MV she teased BB with it's not the final result and it's just visuals for the teaser? Like when she used random footage of other videos she had to do the album trailers for UV and HM. The video looks like really mild and if she has big plans for this album it would be weird to start the era with that. Maybe we are just expecting a big shift that is not coming

Almost 2 weeks since the BB teaser... she has to post something s**n . I guess it's the calm before the storm...

I listened to BTD and VG cause youtube keep recommending them and I didn't really like them that much on first listen but I kept going back to them I don't know why. Then I randomly listened to some songs from BTD and I got hooked. I got into that album and some months later the Paradise era started and without even realizing I was already a stan .

Maybe he's saying that Lana is featured on the Cruella soundtrack. They announced today that the main title is by Florence but maybe there are some more songs... Or maybe he's just trolling to hype Dua cause he stans her.

I want Lana to "rap" again . And by "rapping" I don't mean Playground (Another Lonely Day) rap, I want another song like the National Anthem verses, OTTR or her verse in Summer Bummer (the white lines and black beaches miles in between us part)

If she really works with Nadia Lee I will combust into flames . I don't want to set myself up for disappointment but what if that's what boz meant as unexpected, maybe we get some crazy visuals, maybe she has her tits out on the cover . I've seen some of Nadia's work and some photos almost look like a Lana parody so that would match very well with the sarcastic tone we expect. Also, her working with that MV director could also mean some over the top crazy visuals . But then, the only official thing we have (the BB snippet) doesn't look like any of that and it would be weird to start an era like this with that song (even if we only got 30 sec, the aesthetic is somehow similar to Chemtrails). I don't want another Nicole situation but even when we knew she worked with Neil look at what we got...

Who do we think directed the BB MV? I think it's the same director that did Summertime and White Dress.

Even though I like surprises I'm looking forward to some magazine article or some type of publication where she talks a bit about the direction of this album and maybe spoil some song titles

No COCC slander please I really loved Chemtrails and I still play that album almost every day but I think the problem was that it started as a NFR afterthought and when she got a great vision for the next record (BB) she didn't want to just scrap all the work so she just finished the album and moved on (and the delays didn't help either). It's clear that she wasn't that excited about it but I still think it's a great record. Maybe at times too chill and lowkey underproduced but the melodies are great (especially the pre choruses) and the songwriting was also good. And it's not like she didn't do anything with the album. We got a nice high budget video, a lot of merch and a couple performances. I think BB is the album she really wanted to make since the qftc post so I'm really excited for what's to come even though I want to keep my expectations on the low side until we get the visuals and general aesthetic.
