I thought LDR9 was going to be somewhat similar to BB but since boz loved it that much it's probably going to be really different. He did like WCE but I don't think he would go crazy for you a whole record with that vibe so it's safe to say that she's doing something new and wild

I think it has to do with the fact that they only come here to "spill" after something happens (w magazine and stars align thing, CFY snippets and now the FJM collab) but disappear as soon as nothing happens

My Lana vinyls keep falling over and I haven't touched them or changed their location recently... something has to be coming BTD is the one doing it more often so it's probably Emile trying to tell us something

I need them to post more pictures from that Weyes magazine photoshoot to see if our flowers are still safe But maybe she's only on the cover since there are multiple ones with different people (at least 2)

I wonder what she meant when she said "with everything leaking lately". Maybe the 2 songs sold as BB outtakes are actually from the album or maybe they were on the laptop with the actual new record and she thought that could leak too. Every time I watch her statement on the car thing I get more confused

She also said on BB release day that she already had some new songs she really loved

I'm going to need something more decisive than a collab with FJM to trust insiders They are very good friends and they had a collab this year so it wouldn't be weird for them to exchange the "favor" on the other person's record. A title or lyrics would do

She did say that the laptop thing was a block on the creative process so maybe she took some time off and that meant a delay of a couple of months (so maybe Ben wasn't lying with his comments back then But even if the situation was obviously stressful for her, if they were scared something could leak and they had a schedule already why not start it anyway? Either way, if she was willing to put out a single before the album was fully done I guess we should be getting something soon now that it is finished

The good thing about Lana is that she doesn't usually release songs on Fridays so any day can be release day

I wonder if we're getting just a lead with the preorder coming shortly after or an album reveal with everything at the same time I don't think I could take album title + cover + date + tracklist + lead single all together... We're used to get scraps every now and then and the album title months in advance. It would be sensory overload

I think the only decisive evidence of something coming really soon is the fact that they are promoting her with those ads. They wouldn't pay for them for nothing (and the mailing list explicitly says it's for upcoming announcements and releases so it's not like they just want to promote her back catalogue). Boz listening to the album and now confirming the FJM collab is more circumstantial but is still a positive clue about the album being close. (+Neil teasing but that's just speculation). And I 100% agree with what @Ocean Boulevard just said, it's what makes more sense considering what we have so far in terms of info/clues

I started listening to Lana in the summer of 2012 but this was my first era as an official stan. I'll forever love this album/EP/reedition

I don't think boz would expose himself like that tho... if she didn't submit the album the only way he could access it would be through the stolen laptop and the statement about the collab being fantastic would tie him to the theft

If she goes the jazz route it's probably going to be something more contemporary or sultry (similar to FJM last album or Peggy Lee's signature songs). I'm still waiting for a studio version of Why Don't You Do Right

I think that's probably it, he was specifying it's not the nikki album cause I've never seen someone refer as an upcoming record as "solo" unless they are part of a band/group That or he was teasing another project close to it but I think that's unlikely cause Nikki said the album is not coming and a covers album isn't not solo unless she's sampling every song with the original singers instead of covering them

About what? The FJM collab? Or is there something else I missed
