Glad I “only” spent £85 on eBay, the way people price gouge is straight up predatory. When I first started looking, the most expensive one was selling for over $500 I sent the picture of the obi to my grandmother in Okinawa, and she said it looked nice, but like others said, the translation is slightly wonky I’m still so happy to have this in my collection, though. Cancelled the transparent vinyl last month in hopes of snagging a yellow, and the limited factor was like a shining piece of citrine, couldn’t resist.

Yes! edit: as far as we know

Snagged the Assai vinyl on eBay for a semi-stupid amount, but I Must Be Stupid for Being So Happy It was the cheapest one from a reputable seller. Don’t really like participating in the price gouging reseller game, but I couldn’t resist

I think it depends on the retailer. Amazon, for example, says it will be delivered on 3/19, but Target says 3/26, and my local record store said it won’t arrive until the next week, assuming normal postal delays.

I’ve been thinking about BUS, too, mainly cause it’s been stuck in my head the past two days. From the clips we’ve heard, it is a catchy song, the melody is nice, and while I don’t love Nikki’s voice paired with Lana’s (at least live), I have a lot of hope that it will deliver more than a nice, country inspo-heavy Lana track. Even if it turns out to be just that, it’ll serve as a nice palette cleanser for the record. The length of everything, the record and the songs themselves, indicate this is gonna be a short and sweet, trim the fat kind of project. At first I couldn’t understand why the elusive and much hyped Dealer was cut, but a track like BUS (saying this based off initial reaction to the clips) stayed, but it must reinforce her vision, and tell the story of Chemtrails succinctly. So maybe Dealer will one day exist on the “opposite” album that Yosemite found its home in.

11 days until Man’s World 7” are due out I wonder if there’s a delay, or if things will get moving soon. Really excited for this project though I do wish she would promo, or start posting some snippets to her IG again :/

I think she’s using that woman in the beginning, to depict her younger self, then will show herself in current day. She said something about ignoring the cast in the new video, that it’s not symbolic, indicating that she’ll be in the vid, too Whomever is in the video, it’s going to be incredible, special and deep in meaning, and a little extra nod to the fans who’ve been around for a long time Cannot wait! Very excited about the colors in the video, as well!

She definitely sounded a little uncertain about it in multiple parts of her Mojo interview. “She says she finds listening to the new album ‘a fight’, conceding that she’s offering a pre-emptive critique. ‘It wasn’t so much that I though the songs fantastically fit together with like seamless, sun kissed production -- but, you know, there’s a life lived there.” Also the way she spoke about her vocals in White Dress. But, as the magazine stated right after, and Lana agreed with, the ‘not great’ vocals on the chorus absolutely fit the tone and message of the song. It just seems she’s nervous about the content of the record, and the way it will be received after the widespread success and ease of Norman. It’s her easiest album to get into, and provided a taste of that success and praise she didn’t get before. Though, she said in the interview that she felt people were into the record, not necessarily into her as an artist. The Mojo article gives great insight to the assumed nervousness/paranoia she has after years of being discredited and mocked publicly. Understanding how that’s affected her self-perception (idk if it has, but I think it would) and her art is important to understanding her as an artist and human. I do hope that one day she won’t feel like she has to bring it up during interviews, because to some extent it keeps it alive and fresh into each era, among other things. Based on what we know and what the interviews show us, Chemtrails is going to be an emotional stunner, raw and unexpected, the same way UV was after BTD. Seriously cannot wait!! March 19th please get here quickly
