does anyone have info on the heartbreak high ep? i assume it is a fanmade thing but i was looking the charli tracker on driver and it lists some songs as being from this ep, as if it is a real scrapped project so i got confused

what i don't understand is why didn't capitol drop her yet? if she only complains and acts like a brat about the budget they give her while not releasing anything that gives them money, why is she still signed? she is an a-list in brazil, most of her followers are from here, but yeah she's a flop in the us

what if she changed the direction of the album for a pop rock sound because the label asked for more potential tiktok hits? k-12 wasn't nearly as sucessful commercially as cry baby, so maybe they pushed her to do more trendy type of music and that is why it sounds so different from the leaks

anitta is pissed because she doesn't get enough promotion the way that she wants to, but she still released her awful album last year, and she releases a new droplet single at least one time a month, it's a very different situation than a label not letting her go nor letting her release any music, which is allegedly what is happening with sky. but i get the point, enough with the vague stories, either explain yourself or what EXACTLY capitol is doing to keep you from releasing music

after this snippet i'm intrigued by the sound the album is gonna have, because this new one and VOID have a pop rock vibe to them, but i would never imagine this sound with the visuals we got. it's interesting, i'm really excited to hear the actual album

there aren't any scenes in that film helping the plot along, it just moves whenever she feels like talking about a different topic lol

while we're at it, can we talk about how the whole portion of the film on orange juice is extremely surface level and kinda reads like those awereness movies made by lifetime? melnie discovers that fleur has bulimia. she sings about how bulimia is bad and makes a super shallow remark that ed'd people have heard a million times: "your body is perfect the way it is! i wish u could see yourself the way i see you" and MAGICALLY the girl is cured from her bulimia. it's lazy and sends the message that eds are simple when in reality it's much more nuanced and complicated

i agree! i would prefer a completely new project, but i'm streaming nonetheless

i wonder if melanie is at least going to get a metacritic page for this album, it's so weird that critics don't even care to give her a bad score they just ignore her projects all together... anyways i didn't think the new snippet was that bad, it's kinda catchy! but now that somebody on the thread said it sounds like bella poarch i can't unhear it also imo this "bad" snippet is still better than most of what she released on k12/after school
