Look I like Elle (even if she hates me after this, which is understandable) what bothered me what how she would have a response after replies not liking the ads. But since she seems no longer interested, I don’t think it should be a fight anymore. I erased my response and don’t anticipate having any more to say on the matter

To me it’s literally not about the ads rn or the money it’s about the pretending y’all care about what we think but not giving us the space to express it without rebuke. Don’t ask for our opinion if you don’t care about an outcome unless it’s favorable to you.

aww i’ve been on lb for almost 6 years and it’s clear the culture on here is sick right now. it used to be better when there wasn’t ass kissing and people weren’t for forbidden from certain topics.

i understand why elle is doing it and, of course, the whole loan thing sucks, but as a user, the ads have really deterred me away from visiting LB right now. but if you're able to tolerate them, good for you bestie. i just can't look past them. i'm trying to put this in the nicest and most helpful way possible for miss elle.

I don’t know that people will ever really be honest about how annoying the ads are cause there is random politics on here where mods favor/ignore the behavior of certain people that show them outward support and people don’t want to get on their bad side
