i definitely would've liked it more, i HATEEEEEE the visuals for chemtrails even the brthr video... it doesn't do it for me. it makes no sense for chemtrails at all i swear i'm so glad that chemtrails era ended quickly or else everyone would think im in my i hate lana era .... chuck's video for pawn shop blues was the best thing to come out around that time and it was as unrelated to chemtrails as anything could be

if you're going with color vinyls — i'd go with the least expensive first sometimes people have issues with the sound of her color vinyls/color vinyls in general, personally i don't care and there's been a lot of improvement over the years if you're just doing standard black vinyls, go with your favorite!!!! for a first lana vinyl, i feel like what you want takes precedent over how the vinyl sounds. so if that's UV, go for it bestie

it leaked in lossless in 2021, but the first version was still pretty HQ and it leaked in 2020 i think it should be removed from the leaks but obviously the bb mix should be kept in 2021 released songs

Blue Banisters - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

i don’t get how this album could be deemed incohesive tbh, like i get that it has weird parts and parts that catch you off guard but to me it feels like such a beautiful singular piece of art much like UV, HM, any of her greatest albums but i also think that chemtrails is a nonsensical mess ( this isn’t the chemtrails thread so i won’t go on), so there is something that probably partially destroys the relevance of my bb opinions .. take my words with a grain of salt always girls i haven’t read any of the posts in here yet or planned to write one of my own, but someday maybe i will -
What was your reaction of the BTD to UV transition?
honeybadger replied to Honeyyoung's topic in Lana Thoughts
paradise and the paradise tour really bridges the gap between btd and uv -
i havent thought about this at all so here are my manifestations either A) she delivers the country album with nikki lane and gets it out of her system – lb will go up in flames, someone might attempt to assassinate nikki during prerelease, we live in a state of fear and stability is a distant dream. the album comes out and it actually SERVES, sure the people with no taste say "give me BTD lana back" "give me LFL lana back" but the girls with taste are obsessed. the production is sunkissed and gorgeous, full and beautiful, and the album is perfect. but after this her next album is in a completely different direction or B) she gives us the philosophical postmodern conceptual album with exaggerated aesthetics, perhaps even bordering on kitsch, but fully leaning into a cliche of sound and atmosphere that is gorgeous, deemed by some to be meaningless - just a "pretty" album, perhaps - but on the underside actually a deeply philosophical and meaningful album <3
