this is gonna be controversial, but "The Tortured poets Department" might be her weakest title track to date. first 4 songs opening the album are disappointing, things only picked up from "So Long London" onward

No tracks below 3 minutes (fuck you tiktoks), no covers, just Lana's original takes on country.

finally listen to the album. Florida!!!, So Long London and Smallest Man are literally one of the best songs she ever made Honorable mentions: Little Old Me, I Can Fix Him and Clara Bow This album really surprised me of what Taylor can do, the more i listen to it, the more i realize what a disgrace Midnights was. definitely going for THE ANTHOLOGY later, i need to spend my time with this first half of the album.

I mean, it's just so funny how Lana is always a trendsetter and always go against whats trending while people still naming their album titles as sharp, short, clear, marketable as possible, Lana went out with shits like "Norman Fucking Rockwell!", "Chemtrails over The Country Club" and "Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd", they are all so camp but so iconic at the same time. and now everyone seems like doing long ass album title trying to be as standout as Lana did and Lana in the other hand, goes with one single, simple word: Lasso And this album title has actually grown on me in last few weeks. Cant wait to meet you, Lasso.

i want Taylor to win but low-key kinda want this album to be a critical failure so that this fandom get less delusional and competitive... because im sorry, i cant really find a real swiftie these days, they just claim themselves to be one just to weaponize Taylor to belittle other artists and it's getting embarrassing. and it's not like if the critics decline this album then it's the end for Taylor, she can just release another one next year and wins again lmao

y'all she literally announced this album on grammys night, WHICH she pulls Lana on stage and spend a minute just to praise Lana while receiving the aoty - the biggest award of the night and she finished this album way before that how tf can any of these songs about Lana

the only thing i dislike about this clip is how negative they kinda paint Pebe out to be, yes she was a drug addict and surely her relationship with Kesha was complicated in the past but considering now, she's still trying her best to be a good mother and always be there for Kesha, I always love seeing their mother daughter goals and how they always support each other.
