I deleted twitter for the reason that ppl take it as their full time job to misinterpret and misconstrue basically every singer’s lyrics as a way to feel important. These ppl aren’t happy in their real life so I show them some compassion but either way twitter isn’t the real world - just other fanbases spewing negativity as usual. They’d pick apart literally anything she says for some engagement.

But I have to say living in Oklahoma is pretty cool now that I’ve had two albums mention my state, especially considering I never thought she’d come here let alone have experiences worth writing great music about

I like Blue Banisters but will need time with all 3 songs cause I can’t really understand what she’s saying at all. Imo Text Book was…. a choice idk the instrumentation didn’t flow well to my ears but maybe I need a few more listens. I just can’t understand her words.

that whole pc music hyper pop whatever thing (charli xcx, sophie type music) i don’t think making a bunch of annoying sounds, plug-ins, crashes and noise is as “artistic genius” as some put it. like just because you make a lot of noise doesn’t mean it’s the future of music, but maybe it’s just not my thing? their songs don’t seem to have a whole lot going for them in melodic structure

As if she’s gonna sing any of these new songs live I absolutely adore this album and it makes me really sad shes never gonna acknowledge any of the songs past this week. Sometimes I feel like it’s kind of ridiculous to make all these records then never even sing or make music videos for them. I was so disappointed when I saw the “NFR” tour and all she did were BTD songs plus Bartender (snooze). She even cut Mariners. There is absolutely zero point in touring for COCC unless her band actually puts together 6+ songs from it. I honestly think it’s just laziness.

Oh whaaa. Can the twinks who clung to the “daddy Lolita” type persona please just leave the fandom? She’s about to turn 36, shes much more mature and refined as a songwriter & a person now. idk why y’all want her to tour for this album so bad... she’ll just add chemtrails and let me love you while half-singing the same other 13 tracks thats been in the set for years while ignoring all the new songs.

I’m mostly going on the “saucy” as she calls it vibe of these tracks, there’s usually one or two songs each record that stick out in that way mhm.

i believe she simply didn’t have enough time to scrap it- lucky us! but since it will be one of the fan favorites she is sure to ignore it for years to come, perhaps doing one crude acapella at a random show.

yes TFJ WILL be the cherry of this record... cherry is good whether you edgy stans wanna believe otherwise. TFJ is to COCC as Freak is to Honeymoon, Cherry is to LFL and Cinnamon Girl is to NFR. Period.

Well hopefully the hype for Justin isn’t there since his last album was so cringe. They could honestly debut with around the same first week (110-150k) and his album doesn’t have a “hit” single to back it up.
