    Yes that song is a bop! Always loved it and thought it was one of the best on Sucker. In hindsight I think I enjoy Sucker a bit more than her past 3 releases :diva:
     

    “Charli” is a bit underrated tho. Some abysmal tracks (2099 and I Got It’s rehash) but it was fun and had variety

    She doesn’t have that much released material. Just listen to Ghost EP and NTMT. 
     

    I don’t care for pre-Ghost recordings like As If and all those pop numbers she did, but maybe give them a listen if that’s your cup of tea :) There’s a masterpost to her unreleased work somewhere on this board

    if she really wanted the album out and call it a day, it would’ve been already released. with or without promo. instead, she wants everything planned and big budgets too. i’m not saying she’s wrong for wanting support from the label, but if they don’t wanna give you the budget & you actually want the music to be out, you can always find a way.

    but she won’t accept anything else if it’s not the best, she literally said so in her last drama under her instagram posts. and that’s why the album isn’t out. 

    Exactly and that’s why she’s so cryptic and vague about her situation because when she is transparent you will see she is sabotaging herself and being a spoiled brat. 
     

    Reminds me of when Gaga had to fund the ArtRave show out of pocket d/t the label not believing in the project and not wanting to invest in that. She just came off selling millions of copies with BTW mind you. Sky is lazy and entitled and that’s why there’s nothing out. Period point blank. Someone should steal her laptops and cameras next time instead. :popcorn:

    Sam is gay. Nothing can convince me otherwise. He was advertising in that IG post. The 90s/2000s pop girls love their younger men (Mimi, Madge, Cher too) but their men don’t take center stage like Sam does frequently. I know Britney’s situation is unique, but she clearly has no problem vocalizing her own opinions, so it’s a little suspicious to me.

    Like yes she's annoying and we can't stand her for not releasing a sophomore album or even a god damn EP like.....but I am living for Descending and it's making me stan all over again like we love a shelved underground queen of angsty pop music ugh yes miss ferreira !!!!! withhold all material and make us SUFFER

    Whew is K?

    And I'd want to know more about pre-LDR days tbh. Just her career as an underground singer-songwriter leading up to releasing AKA, and of course, what happened after that led to BTD release. She honestly needs a documentary at some point in her career. Not now, the GP doesn't deserve it, but in the future, I really hope she does a good tell all documentary about her career. She is a once in a lifetime artist. She has defined our generation. Love her so much.

    I never bought the "my label won't let me release" narrative because she's done quite a few side projects since NTMT and also if her label is trying to force her to release something she "doesn't stand by" why would they let her release Downhill Lullaby I mean the song has 0 commercial potential unlike DF (which honestly, felt like the bare minimum...) 

     

    It just doesn't make sense. Where are the insiders??? Has anyone ever leaked any sort of tea on her situation at all?

    Descending is cute. It's giving me 2000s angsty pop girl ala Avril/Skye Sweetnam. Speaking of Miss Sweetnam, after she left her major label d/t floppage she started a heavy metal band. Wouldn't be surprised if Sky went that route eventually honestly.

    BOZ: Maybe she will (work with him), but maybe they just felt like they burnt out together. Rick seems to be heavily working on new Zara Larsson music so he clearly needed some vibe-switch.
    there were rumors that something bad happened with them... this just gave me hope

    Not Zara Larsson. I think they’ll link up again at some point though

    Can we really be mad? It gave Lana a Top 5 hit IIRC (or T10) and probably boosted her streams a bit more (which wouldn’t have mattered because her streams continue to grow over time but that exposure was probably helpful)
