suddenly the bb album cover art makes even MORE sense! the vibes as we near the holiday season... give me... the void at the centre of commercialism, sitting on the porch alone, slipping out of family parties without saying goodbye -
that's my chosen mum

i can't tell if it's i like your ivy lies or i like your ivy eyes because both really make sense to me ivy lies = when anonymous in a club ppl tend to talk themselves up ivy eyes = green eyes -> green is symbolic of money -> these men are money to her -> she dances for money

currently, when it comes to ldr, i listen to unreleased stuff 85% of the time, UV (album) 5%, and honeymoon (album) 5%, and cola 5% lol

the way this *fake* tracklist has actually got my heart rate up. if what sjatib said is true (i don't remember), i hope any song that does explore those themes is titled differently or will be retitled. 'trail of tears' is not a song title. it was genocide. as a song title, would be synonymous with 'forced displacement, death marches, violence, starvation, death, and ONGOING traumatic effects on the Native American population today' so OBVIOUSLY as a song title, would be incredibly insensitive (at the very fucking least) for Native Americans. i love lana and have always trusted her but i'm... stressed! -

i love that lana is so chill n funny and obviously has sm love for her friends but the label was right in encouraging her to find a new album cover and i kind of wish they would continue to share their perspective/insight w lana re: marketing, they are experts and meant to work as a team after all. i find NFR's artwork in the end really helped make the album more profound and distinguished, u kno? real aoty shit. god, nfr certainly was a way to close the decade -
@DeluluKing drag me too king!!!

shades of cool isn't one of my favourite tracks on UV, and in my rankings of UV songs would be quite low

a little actually! similar tone, it seems? maybe they are sisters and thank u for reminding me of that cover - the way she sings the chorus is heavenly and her voice is clear as a bell -
just because it's an "unpopular opinions" thread doesn't mean u can go spouting fatphobic shit or romanticising pedophilia. keep it inside ur underdeveloped prefrontal cortex bby <3
