yes my guess is that the leaked fantasia and enjoy the angels were the original versions and then anyma reworked the songs we heard at Coachella. I prefer both the Coachella versions to these demos but appreciate the demos

well shes said many a passive aggressive thing about lana but agreed on the diss track not existing. regardless of what ~reliable insider~ said what, I won't believe this is real till I hear it. I don't believe Lana wrote an Ethel diss track.

girl the instagram post is flooded with admiration and love. I just skimmed through the comments and could not find a single bad one. if they are there, they're buried deep in the mass amount of positive comments and surely have 100 people responding in defence of her. so why are you honing in on this as though the majority of people are sending her hate when the reviews are for the most part incredibly positive? people are allowed to dislike the record btw. insufferable

yeah idk I feel like if anyone else released this album the 100/100 reviews would not be coming out. "I love this so much its a major fuck you to anyone who thought shed do American teenager again" - someone on albumoftheyear meanwhile im over here trying to figure out whats wrong with American teenager? why her fans are so eager to sneer at people who love that song? or her more accessible music. "hell yes this is going to alienate all the Ethel fans who love her pop music" why do her fans want her to alienate more casual listeners? you can say they're annoying but is being adored really so bad? it seems beyond pretentious for her religious fans to want to alienate a good chunk of her fanbase.

A lot of PR companies send out albums to critics way in advance to be reviewed, its not uncommon. The only thing this indicates is that there's a PR team/publicist behind Perverts which makes sense.

Arguing about whether or not it's a "valid comparison" seems pointless when it's clear that many people do find the comparison valid. Just because you don't, doesn't mean others don't/doesn't mean you're right and they're wrong If sometimes people are reminded of Lana when listening to her, who are you to deem that valid or not

and so it continues... I might be alone here but I don't know why her fans are so mad about Lana comparisons. They be blue in the face saying nobody should dare make mention of Lana when discussing Ethel. but why? lol.

"insiders" say Lana made an "Ethel diss track" thats "not quite so legit" but apparently also "QFTC pt 2" ... eye roll people speculate on why Lana would have a problem with Ethel and discuss Ethel editing her wikipedia to scrub it of any Lana reference/mention.
