Arguing about whether or not it's a "valid comparison" seems pointless when it's clear that many people do find the comparison valid. Just because you don't, doesn't mean others don't/doesn't mean you're right and they're wrong If sometimes people are reminded of Lana when listening to her, who are you to deem that valid or not

and so it continues... I might be alone here but I don't know why her fans are so mad about Lana comparisons. They be blue in the face saying nobody should dare make mention of Lana when discussing Ethel. but why? lol.

"insiders" say Lana made an "Ethel diss track" thats "not quite so legit" but apparently also "QFTC pt 2" ... eye roll people speculate on why Lana would have a problem with Ethel and discuss Ethel editing her wikipedia to scrub it of any Lana reference/mention.

how come the implication seems to only be that his views would change hers, as if she couldn't possibly be a positive influence on him, or hasn't already

Lyrically and visually, it gives Lana rip off/bootleg Lana, rather than paying homage to Lana. She lifted "like cherries in the spring" directly Song is undeniably good though!
