what happened? something about her using the confederate flag?
-
I wish it was called American whore and I don't get the "A&W" conjuring root beer I love it as much as I do There's a Tunnel. both are perfection
-
Any ideas why she opted in the end to call it A&W instead of american whore?
-
Agree its amazing But I'm dying on the hill that this is her. the hums.... the lower register. I only hear Grimes
-
she has some really unique qualities to her voice and I hear Grimes all over these tracks. not me being the only one shook by this right now
-
Did you listen to the full song? the intro vocals are obviously not her, all these actually Aida tracks are features. sounds exactly like her. Same with the actually Aida song "toxic"
-
guys I'm shocked I feel like "actually Aida" is 100% Grimes releasing music under a different name the vocals are her. I can't be convinced otherwise...oh my god

took me a while to get into EYEYE but I've seen the light

I'm tempted to spam fantano on twitter so he reviews it
-
she said it was a concept album so I think this interpretation is spot on she also said on twitter the last song turning into the first song is a snake eating its own tail I think all of these were very conscious decisions
-
I hope her splitting from Columbia means she'll drop book 1 on her own
-
this gif on her website

married in mount airy cover got out!
-
this was debunked years ago, did not happen. the image was an adult woman dressed in a school girl outfit and angry Melanie fans tried to cancel her because 100 gecs did not release their Melanie collab
-
maybe this means now that she isn't signed she can drop whatever she wants whenever, right?
-
care to elaborate? I'm curious. thought it was a label problem from her response on twitter when someone asked her where the album is and she said "on my computer" I also remember her implying on tiktok that the label wasn't letting her release singles or rejected them or something?

manifesting Grimes leaking her own album if the record label won't put it out
-
yes knowing she produced and recorded it by herself makes me like it more
