Sad update, but they cancelled it so I caved paid $70 for it on ebay Justifying it to myself by saying that it'll be double that a year from now
-
Has Urban shipped out any of their exclusive vinyl?
-
omg it did!! I feel like there has to be some purpose right? Like why keep the vast majority of them up, but not on and on, unidentified flying bill, and serene queen

Update: On and On is continuing to be removed from YT, and I've noticed the same thing happening with Living Legend before BB. They haven't made attempts to remove any others from the treasure trove of unreleased songs from YT, so just a thought

I just saw a tiktok about someone thinking that notoriousbluesgirl on instagram is Lana. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I haven't seen many people speak about this on here, but I love how Rob starts off Sweet Carolina by saying "ok" lol. It's something that took me several listens to notice, almost like the Jack easter egg at the end of Hope is a Dangerous Thing -
Ok but I love the smoky texture in the marbling. So glad that it's not clear, and that it has some marbling to it. It's everything I could have hoped for

Same, I'm so upset! I'm assuming all of their stock must be backordered, because I ordered within like 5 min of it being on the site

You guys it's beautiful!

This may be a bit of a hot take, but I've seen so many people mention that they've liked BB way more than they thought they would, and I kind of agree with them. As I've mentioned in other threads, I really do love all the singles, but I don't feel as though they best represented the album throughout its pre-release promotion. Dealer, IYLDWM, BBS, and others have some more grungy vibes that I feel like didn't really shine through from the promo. So many of us on here were nervous about getting an entire album full of piano ballads (which I would have been more than happy with, but this album had many more sides to it). That said, I am glad that Lana chose the songs that meant most to her, and that's the most important thing, but I do think even replacing one of the singles, or dropping one or two more from those I've listed, would have definitely given more hype to the album's release to some of her more casual listeners.

Jack put up a story for her on Friday! -
I haven't heard that song before so I'm listening to that now, and omg she would make such an amazing cover!
-
Also On and On keeps on getting removed from YT, so I'm manifesting that and yes to heaven being on an 80s synth themed album
-
I'm still thinking of when one of her managers said "album()" coming soon and then re-shared a fan account's theory of another album being released soon in addition to BB. Yesterday in the live Lana also alluded to how knowing that she likes Harry Nilsson will be useful "later this year," but then also seemed to indicate that the covers/country album is still being worked out conceptually, so I wonder if this hint of her's about Harry is about something else coming. Unless one of his covers will be a single for the covers album? What does this mean lol

Sorry meant to say that they did 18,000 this week at number 2 "Don Toliver's second album, Life of a Don, debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart (dated Oct. 23), selling 18,000 copies in the U.S. in the week ending Oct. 14" -

Aside from Drake who is at 1, Lana is set to outsell the current number 2 spot (they are at 2 with 18,000 this week). Drake and Elton seem to be her main competition, but if someone with 18,000 can be at 2, then Lana will still have a pretty decent debut https://www.billboard.com/charts/billboard-200 -

On the bright side, Lana has the highest user score of all time on Metacritic https://www.metacritic.com/browse/albums/score/userscore/all/filtered -

I don't get why pre-orders don't count unless the album ships, like if I already gave her my money it should totally count -

It looks like Elton John is debuting with similar amounts as well -

Do the sales predictions count streams as well? I'm not too surprised since her physicals have been released in pretty limited stock. All her colored vinyl sold out within hours, and while many people like her music, I think the stock was just limited to begin with on that end -
She mentioned that the covers album and country album may be combined, and that it may be like a "cali to country" theme. She also mentioned that she isn't touring for BB, but is continuing to write, and that she has some new songs, possibly alluding to her "4 or 5" songs that she usually has in the beginning of a new album.
-
I don't really know if this will be true. She gets a lot of her sales from physicals, and her management/label may end up making it happen. At the very least, I can't see no vinyl being produced at all, but maybe just a standard black.
-
Ok so something that stuck out to me was her saying that there may only be an IYLDWM video, and she really framed it as a maybe. I was SO sure that we would be getting more MVs from the arcadia alt MV set, and what craig stark posted on insta. Unless that's for something else down the road? I'm super thankful for everything she's given us, but I hate being wrong about my theories lol

Is she talking about James Franco's book? I know he wrote a book that weirded her out
