    She's been in the limelight for less than 3 years so it's too early to call her an icon. I think Born to Die will be an iconic album within the alternative/indie scene though.

    A lot of people at my university like her especially the creative people. I know a few people who really "stan" for her.

    I think it's obvious she's always been somewhat depressed. I think that's why her music is so raw. I liked how she handled the 'dead idols' question.
