  1. HDD is now projecting that Lana will narrowly be #1 over Tyler this week after according to rumours Ratdal have decided not to report numbers for Meek Mill.
  2. might delete my number bc this was not thought through well at all... already ppl who are quite known on twitter are getting like harassed Lana got us doxxing ourselves
  3. I'm actual ugly crying at Lana acknowledging songs like Kill Kill (that must have been written 10 years ago now) and Caught You Boy and even singing Hollywoods Dead and Hollywood. I honestly love how open she is now about the fact that her fans have all heard her leaked material and that she seems to be at peace with it
  4. just checked and I can't believe this bitch scrapped her entire website and made it link to her store - she is desperate for dem coins
  5. Honeymoon teas, remember when it got its #1 position snatched by another old British dinosaur David Gilmour
  6. In the UK, iirc at the time of the midweek chart update, LfL was only behind by 1839 copies Also I feel like Lana's the type to pretend to not care about #1s and shit but actually she cares quite a lot. I still feel she has that quiet steeliness and ambition that allowed her to break out in the first place
  7. This pitchfork live stream is very interesting for those who enjoyed the recent Pitchfork interview https://www.facebook.com/Pitchfork/videos/10155446533536000/
  8. yeah my cd got imported as Electronica too via iTunes - I believe the CD doesn't contain any title or genre information and iTunes merely identifies it and downloads the information from its database which is obviously wrong
  9. hate how her best cover in years is literally for a fucking magazine that went out of print and is online only wtf also I slightly softened the blow of finding out that I'll probably never get the chance to hear Lana sing live by orderin masel the signed lithograph also scots represent! Xx
  10. I'm upset beyond words; I've been waiting 4 years to finally see her and the universe has decreed that I'm going to be away the day that she is literally on my doorstep. I'm devastated.
  11. Oh my god same. The first couple listens I didn't like it too much, I thought it was a sweet song but the gunshots corny af but for some reason it's the song that I keep coming back to now
  12. Are y'all really doing the "just released album is Lana's worst album" shtick? Not questioning the sincerity of your opinion right this moment, but after Honeymoon was released loads of people were also calling it her worst album and now in general you can see that most people are ranking it near the top of her discography in this very thread.
  13. It's getting broadcast Wednesday iirc - there's a tweet on the BBCR1 twitter
  14. Dunno why y'all mad about Fantano (whose opinions I often disagree with but still respect because he mostly manages to give his reasons why he evaluates a record that way) when the Pitchfork review is OUT - and Lana achieves her best ever score at 7.7 and gains a glowingly positive review. http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/lana-del-rey-lust-for-life/amp/ Let's aim for Best New Music for LDR6
  15. Love how this bitch somehow managed to hex all the critics from giving her any less than 4/5 and snatch critical acclaim from the jaws of Witness-level reception - and I love it. Really really nervous for the pitchfork review though
  16. why are so many people suddenly so unsatisfied with the record omfg and talking shit about its lyrics etc how can you say that lfl doesn't have atmospheric or descriptive lyricism that "paints a picture" when for example cherry has lines like "my rose gardens dream, set on fire by fiends / my celluloid scenes are torn at the seams".
  17. @Eclipse leak Something Real I'm actual gagging to hear the early version since 13 Beaches is one of my faves and it's always so interesting witnessing the development process of compositions
  18. One complaint I do have about the album has nothing to do with the music - I've seen a lot of CD packaging (inc the booklet, etc), and the CD packaging for LfL is honestly one of the lowest effort I've seen in a while. Some packages such as Radiohead's AMSP honesty are beautiful, with debossed text and gorgeous art all over the booklet and the gatefold. I would expect more considering how much of a perfectionist Lana seems to be. The back cover of the booklet is the exact same as the back cover of the jewel case, the ONLY lyrics are riddled with mistakes that are so obvious they are inexcusable, the CD is an extremely basic single colour, and it just doesn't seem as if any sort of artistic effort has been put into the packaging.
  19. Several publications have decided to use Born To Die as a measure against which to evaluate Ms Del Rey's music when they themselves shallowly trashed it back in 2012 miranda_cosgrove_interesting.jpg
