Idk tbh I love the different sounds/genres. I respect and understand that maybe you don’t love the album but for me it’s so fun! And I think there is good cohesion despite playing with lots of different genres which makes it really entertaining to me.

I fucking love this album so much. Juno and Lie to girls are perfection.

Angels Forever definitely has a country/southern influence to it. A lot of BTD/Paradise/Tropico unreleased have country influence. Blue Jeans, Ride (which Angels Forever is extremely similar to) Summertime Sadness, Wild One etc etc. The Mirror sounds really similar to those songs to me with a bit more of a “dark” sound to it. I feel like Angels Forever could totally fit.

Well of course… I mostly just mean more polished (but pretty much the same lol) production It’s one of my favorite songs ever, and I feel like it’s so southern gothic that it would fit on the album perfectly. Though the lyrics are very dark 😭

We need an I Talk to Jesus rework on Lasso

I am a little dissapointed with the “not a huge departure” comment. I guess I wasn’t really expecting one since we already knew it was going to be country/americana. But I hope it’s more similar to her older work at least 😭 I really don’t want a Chemtrails 2.0.

You guys need to understand she is not announcing anything ever. At most she will tell us her new album [insert album name that is not Lasso] is coming February 30th. And then 6 months after that we will get a random pre order drop of her new album [insert album name that is not Lasso nor the random album she announced at a concert] that will get no acknowledgment from her and be pushed back a month due to vinyl delays.

Because she’s not singing it live ❤️
