tsmwel and peter have amazing bridges, though i do think she traded bridges for banger outros on a lot of songs, but i'm not mad about it.

i mean they are kind of calculated? a lot of the bad reviews feel like they just went through twitter to find all of the "hot takes" to increase their engagement. They also probably see the shifting opinion on her and want to capitalize. i genuinely don't see how this album could be anything less thana 70 to a critic but whatever.

Fantano is ripping this album apart and it’s actually so embarrassing and making him really not respect him. I actually enjoy watching his reviews even when I disagree but wow the clip I saw of him reacting to it was just bad. He was just regurgitating the same tired Twitter takes that weren’t even about the music lol. Calling her creatively tired and a “perpetual victim” (which we could have an entire conversation on that critique and how irritating it is but whatever). The reviews on this album are so biased and I can’t wait in two years when people realize this is top 3 if not her best record lol.

*insert halsey tweet here* this being lower than midnights is ridiculous, ttpd should’ve gotten a 7.5 plus with midnights somewhere in the high 6’s, but whatever

I need to write a full review on this album because I have so many thoughts… I genuinely think this is her magnum opus 2024 is the best year for music since 2019!

I absolutely love this album but I definitely would love an album full of cruel summers and getaway cars as well, in fact that was my prediction originally for this album as it was being released right before summer. I’m def happy with what we got though! Also interestingly enough I find these songs super catchy, even though I know they aren’t typical “hit” melodies.

I noticed that throughout the entire album! You can like picture exactly how she was singing the song in the studio just based on her tone and emotion, it’s gorgeous

God every song just gets better and better each listen… the only songs I find myself genuinely disliking are Cassandra and The Manscript. But even those I just find them boring it’s not a song I HATE or anything.

My boy only breaks his favorite toys is actually one of the saddest songs on the record just say when, id play again he was my best friend down at the sandlot i felt more when we played pretend than with all the kens cause he took me out of my box
