I just came home from a listening party and the people there consisted of locals listening to taylor swift instead of Lana and not even knowing that we got to listen to the album two days prior release, a guy complaining about Jack Antonoff’s singing during Margaret and another American (mind you this was in Europe) who was rude towards the employees and rolled his eyes at everyone including me and my friend (and of course he managed to win the merch…) other than that the album was a masterpiece as always and I got a poster. Which is the whole reason I turned up.

Can anyone who has been to a intending party tell me if it’s a good experience? At first I was like “no I’d rather listen to it alone” because I figured I’d be annoyed by other people there, but then I saw that limited edition poster and it’s free in my city and now I’m contemplating… -

No one is coming in between me and that coke necklace -
I haven’t listened to it because I want to wait until its release day, but honestly the way that you describes it sounds like the way I feel about text book. It’s a good song, but probably on of my least favorites on blue banisters, and I love bb very much. Idk, it just feels like a boring album opener to me personally. It’s so strange really, most of the time I think Lana is good with album openers, born to die, cruel world, honeymoon to name a few. But Text book to me is a boring album opener, it doesn’t set the feeling of the album nor lure you in
